The local produce they have available is always fresh, and Food Lion always carries something, or brands, you will not find at other grocery stores which is nice. If Kroger is out try Food Lion. Great location on Electric Rd

The Food Lion is decent, but not that good. I’ve seen multiple counts of moldy food in the produce aisle and lots of other wonky things and more training needs to be put in for the staff to know which bags to put correct items in. There was meat in a soap bag and the chicken always smells funky

Grandin Road Oak Grove Food Lion is the best entertainment in Virginia listening to the deli manager heavy blonde brag how she told off the customer who called earlier on the phone wanting chicken salad before 2:30 p.m but then showed up an hour early at 1:30 when she was told it wouldn't be ready bragging how she told her off, while I waited a solid 2 minutes for them to turn around and see what I wanted. Well worth the wait, boy did she tell that lady off behind her back for jumping the gun on chicken salad. IN all seriousness, I've never heard anyone openly hate their job more or openly loudly hate the customers more and loudly brag about it than the blonde deli manager and workers at Oak Grove Grandin Food Lion Deli. They're halfway decent when they're facing you but when they're 12 in from you they'll ignore you for 10 minutes and go another level mean girl hate their customers energy. It's only on hilarious because the manager hates people too. Makes it super obvious he can't stand his customers. Resents people who even walk near him the store is absolutely hilarious. I posted a couple videos on tiktok and every person thought it was a skit because the workers are so miserable and mean.

Love this grocery store. It is my new go to for groceries. I refuse to go back to Kroger because of their rude employees and lack of cashiers.

I dont know what kind of training goes on here because the staff at this Food Lion is very curtious and polite and authentic. For that reason alone I keep coming back. Gives these guys a bonus.
