At 67 years old I've never bought a new car until today. The sales guy dustin went above and beyond to make things as simple as possible for me, he was very knowledgeable and answered every question I had. When it came time to go to finance David was just as amazing, he was very understanding and patient with me which goes a long way since this was my first time ever buying a new car. A+ to these two guy who went above and beyond!!!

I was looking for a very specific car for work, the salesman dustin found exactly what I was looking for and done the deal all in the same day. Very quick and easy process. I've never in my years of buying vehicles came across a salesman that was as knowledgeable as he was about cars. Even with the situation of cdk being down the finance guy david make the process quick and painless, hats off to him for having to do the "old school" way. He made quick work and got me out fast. The two of them are truly amazing to work with, hat off to southern team for having two incredible employees to work with customers.

New Jetta with 300 miles - Service light came on.
The message I got was the soonest appointment was in July.
Not sure why this was communicated, but probably not what anyone really wants to hear.
I've had good experiences here in the past, but this is clearly undesirable.
Update:
I went and bought an OBD reader - took me as a first time user less than 5 minutes to determine I had a misfire on cylinder 1 - this was the work that was going to take a few days to complete.
So apparently the first question asked when the problem was presented to the Roanoke dealer, was where the vehicle was purchased. Obviously this has nothing to do with the vehicle's problem, but does suggest a problem with the dealer
I collected the vehicle; we called around and the Charlottesville VW dealer (Flow Volkswagen of Charlottesville) agreed to take the vehicle and immediately address the problem, regardless of where it was purchased. Thank you Flow!
We have AAA so we put it on a rollback, sent it to Flow in C'ville and it will be repaired tomorrow.
As you can see the manager was supposed to contact me. A sales person did call me and told me that a manager of some type was to call me - still waiting for that one.... doubt it will ever come.
Southern Team is a multi-city dealer, but of course one can never actually speak to someone who is actually in charge of anything. I don't know what's up in Roanoke, but VW shouldn't condone it, nor should the management of Southern Team
