“Impressive selection and great prices! I needed a couple specific adapters for commercial grade communications equipment and wanted to get them locally. Looks like H.C. Baker’s is the ONLY place in the Roanoke-Salem-Christiansburg area that has them and then some- I was pleasantly surprised to see the inventory online as well. Wish I wasn’t in a hurry when I stopped by, but I’ll definitely be back for RF connectors/adapters as well as batteries for Back-UPS boxes. So glad I came across this store!”

“This store saved me from having to move my service to another company. After visiting another location I am surprised that one hasn't run off many customers. They were too busy on the phone, and never even brought up my account on the computer. Kept talking on her ear buds on the phone and told me I only had 1 option for my upgrade. She Did not want to help at all. Total disrespect. The 9th Street store..this store was a total opposite. Very nice, helpful, and did more than the bare minimum. Went out of his way for me. The first thing he did was pull up my account btw. Showed me many options as well and was very honest. If you are wanting to go to Metro PCS ( I can't get a better plan for 2 of us) do not go anywhere but this location on 9th Street SE.”

“The Starbucks crew was amazing. I was searching for a new sugar free option being they discontinued the sugar free cinnamon syrup. All that's left is the vanilla. With that being said, I wanted to try out some hacks found online and they were very happy to oblige and let me try out some suggestions. The first was a disaster but they made me something else that was much better. I left satisfied and with an idea of what to order the next time. I appreciate their patience and help. I actually went in for a cable and the electronics department employees were very helpful and friendly. They were helping out a group of seniors get familiar with their new phones and it was such a nice surprise to see how patient and helpful they were. The only criticism I had is the crazy one way in and out the parking lot. It was my first time here so I had to drive around circles to get out. I also learned that the online prices are better than in the store and they price match. Thumbs up!”

“Today I walked in 7-Eleven in search of an afternoon treat, so, as I am browsing I see a promotion on planters peanuts. The promotion was three for $1.19. I get up to the register to check out and the store manager says this is an old promotion, I point him in the direction of the sign. He refuses to go look at it, then says I will just give you the promotion price.Do better with changing out promotions to prevent confused customers.”
