"Buyer beware!" Dunmar sent the A Team to pick us up, (really excellent) and the E Team to drop off our stuff (a horror story). They sent approx. a dozen guys some of whom seemed drunk or or smart phone deaf. After the truck missed the driveway opening wiping out a big branch over our driveway, they dropped a package or two from the top of their hand truck as they were loading it on the bed of the truck. The package was round after rolling on the driveway. The driver finally called for a time out after I yelled at them a couple of times. They then damaged my saw and the insurance company tried to replace it with a non-fitting, cheap Chinese knockoff for one fifth the true replacement cost. Anticipate supervising them closely if you want your stuff handled properly.

Last Friday, May 3, we moved after living in the same house for 34 years. We chose Dunmar to move us as a former co-worker sets up appts for them. We couldn't have made a better choice! Four strong and able-bodied gentlemen showed up ready and willing to move our treasures. They immediately shook our hands - all of them - not just the boss, Brad. After a quick walk through, they got to business and didn't stop. They wrapped everything, took down beds, everything they needed to - and with meticulous care! At the new house, we met them with lunch and drinks and a well-deserved break. They were so thankful we moved from a three story into a one floor patio home! But, again, a quick walk through to show where all the furniture would go and they were off to unload. Honestly, Brad is great at decorating too! Some of his ideas for placement were better than ours! We cannot say enough about these guys. They were friendly, professional, extremely hard working and just plain nice to work with. We would not hesitate to use this moving service again. We even invited them to please stop by to stay hi in the future!

AWESOME EXPERIENCE!!! These wonderful hard working gentlemen came into our house and made easy work of packing us up … polite ..extremely professional gentlemen … hard working… they made it look so easy and effortless, which I’m sure it wasn’t!!! I would highly recommend them !!!

Dunmar Moving Systems/Allied Van Lines is hands down the best moving company! From start to finish, their team of professionals exceeded my expectations. The communication from Hailey, Susan, James, Antoine, and Jamar was exceptional. They were prompt in responding to all my queries and made the entire moving process seamless.
What truly impressed me was their ability to handle unexpected challenges. Despite the elevator at our apartment complex breaking down halfway through the move, James, Antoine, and Jamar remained calm and composed. They tackled the situation with grace and positivity, ensuring that the move was completed without any further delays.
The level of professionalism and dedication displayed by the entire team was truly commendable. They took great care in handling my belongings and ensured that everything arrived at the new location in perfect condition. The only reason I’ll give it two stars is because of Antonio the driver. He was so nice and worked very hard with absolutely no help. The estimator was nice. The move coordinator Hailey was helpful along the way, but the supervisor, Michelle, didn’t respond to the driver’s request to send me a claim form. I’m quite sure the dining table they damaged will never be repaired or compensated with this shoddy service. God only knows what else they damaged when I unload the storage unit. The load in movers, although very nice guys, were not careful and things got damaged, including floors and walls in the house. No pads laid down, no padding on the doors as Allied indicates there will bes. The unload contracted people were an hour late and barely worth a dime. They got everything in the storage unit but were stacking bookcases on top of crushed boxes marked fragile. When I questioned it he told me to butt out and “what did I do for a living?” For the amount of money they charge, this was a huge no. Very few movers have good reviews, but try someone else. I heard good things about Allied generally but was disappointed with Dunmar in this case.
