302 2nd St SW, Roanoke“I love it so much! Like I said I might have some things that I can do for people who are supposed to be able to do these things themselves but when you can't even though you might mess up, you keep striving toward getting better and this organization will always help you with your own stuff and I would love to talk about it when I can see that someone else needs that help and I xan be a mediator to that person. Hoorah for tap!! Hope I can continue to get some help when I need it in the future!!!”

429 Elm Ave, Roanoke“A great center for people who need Peer Support, from likewise individuals with shared experiences. Substance Abuse, Mental Health Issues. It is not a counseling center, there is no Doctors or Nurse's on staff. A in safe place to go, where you meet individuals going through or have gone through what you have or may be experiencing. They offer support groups, it is a Peer Run Center. It is a excellent place, full of support and guidance, has resource materials, and you make very stable and strong connections with people.”

724 Dale Ave SE, Roanoke“Philip Priest and the folks at the Roanoke Salvation Army are the best. They have helped with two funerals of my wife's family, and were tremendously helpful to members of my family over the years. I am grateful that dedicated people are still willing to help those in need.”
“I enjoy coming to the YMCA Express because it has such a friendly and homey atmosphere. I have been a member for over eight years. The staff are always very helpful. The instructors make the classes enjoyable”

4335 Pheasant Ridge Rd Ste A, Roanoke“It was nice on my recent visit that the clothing racks were not over packed making it hard to look through what's there. Many Goodwill's are like that. But this one wasn't, so shopping was a pleasant experience .”
“I donate frequently and shop frequently. I wish customers could still try on clothes. This new policy limits the items I'm able to buy.I'm also saddened that the policy was put into place because people steal. I wish I could offer a better solution.”
“Update-Customer Service made things right.. I greatly appreciate it.Ordered from them online / auction site GoodwillShopOnline— marked “as is” but failed to disclose in the pics or in the comments section that the strap was torn .. paid close to 70 for the bag.. dishonest will be sure not to buy from them again”
“This Goodwill is very clean and does not smell musty, as some do! I arrived at noon just as they were opening. Today was a great day to purchase clothing, because yellow tags were $1 and red tags were 1/2 off. It became more crowded as the time passed, I'm guessing due you these summer Sunday specials. Staff were helpful and very friendly! Dressing rooms were clean and clutter free. A great visit, and I purchased so many cheap nice unneeded clothes!”
“I have donated building materials multiple times in the last few months and the staff receiving the donations have been very helpful offloading the goods. I have also purchased the restore paint and have been very pleased with the quality of the paint”
