I used Collegiate Movers for a local move here in Roanoke. The team was punctual, friendly, polite, and efficient. Very pleased with the service and price (price was roughly 40% cheaper than a local competitor). Would recommend and will use them again if needed.

Collegiate moved my belongings in early June. The crew did a great job moving me, all involved were very courteous, helpful and careful with my belongings. Not a single thing was broken or damaged. The estimate quoted me was "spot on". I recommend Collegiate without reservation.

I have used Collegiate movers for a move from Virginia to Florida in 2009, 3 moves in Virginia, a move from Florida to Ohio in 2020 and most recently, in April 2024, a move from Ohio to Tennessee. I can’t say enough about the wonderful service, reliability and care they have given me. Kevin is an amazing packer, great attitude and goes the extra mile. His crew was very efficient, well mannered and very hard working. So, in the past 15 years and 6 moves, I would never trust another mover as I have with Collegiate.The final bill has always been the same as the estimate. No surprises.

Would not recommend. Brock stuff. Did not use Dollie's too more anything. Grabbing anything to grip the item . Even breaking it to try to carry it. No straps used to carry anything. Guy jousting though landscaping to get to stairs. Should have used stairs. Dirt everywhere spreading on sidewalks. Higher price than quoted and broke stuff.

Adrian was always available and responsive. Cody and JD called on the way, showed up on time. We're very friendly and polite. Did an excellent job moving furniture out and into the new apartment. Once it was all said and done the price came out to match the estimate I was quoted. They charged almost half the price of the other three movers I contacted to move my mother in Roanoke. BEWARE.....FIND SOMEONE ELSE. We used a branch of this company in a prior move about 6 years ago. Awesome job for a reasonable price. So when we went to move again my husband just automatically called them again. I thought the price was way to high but my husband was handling. Moving day came with a bunch of young adults and one older and two trucks. They immediately started complaining around me about where they had to be in an hour and arguing about which truck they where loading first. There was no rhyme or reason how they packed stuff. We had a 2 weeks lapse between homes. When I finally got my stuff, the boxes looked awful. I have several items in fragile boxes that where damages. The biggest thing is I HAVE STUFF MISSING. My DVD player -gone. My Camera- gone. They are nowhere to be found. I have checked every box. I am pissed. Of course how do you have proof of what you pack. Lesson learned I guess. I thought I was using a legitimate company. Apparently not.

we used Collegiate movers for a local move. We got the estimate and scheduled the move. We were scheduled for 2 large trucks and 5 movers. The morning of our move, I received a call from the owner saying they were "running short on trucks" and ask if we could have our move that day, using one truck and what couldn't be fit on that truck, would be finished the next day. Well, the movers arrived with one smaller truck and 4 movers. We were told at their arrival that another truck would be arriving in a few hours, then another a few hours after that. Over the few morning hours, everything changed several times and no other trucks came. Our one day move turned into 3 days. The movers themselves, worked very hard and they kept apologizing for the continuous changes. I am giving 3 stars because of the good work of the men that did the actual work. I give the Adrian, the owner/scheduler no stars!

Adrian was very kind and delivered on his promises. The crew showed up on time, were careful and conscious and took care with our belongings. Price was reasonable and fair. Highly recommend this company!
