Chris's team was very professional when tearing down and replacing our old deck. The additional work that was requested on our almost 100 year old house was completed within the time frame in spite of discovering some "surprises."

All around great experience with Chris and his team for building a custom door to an exterior basement stairwell as well as having insulation blown into my attic.Chris was very responsive with great communication throughout both projects, keeping me up to date of status and expected timing. He and his teams were punctual, friendly, and very professional. The work product on both was also great. I can already tell a difference with my new insulation, and I'm extremely happy with how the exterior door turned out.

I worked with Chris to get a new porch on my parent's house in Roanoke. Since I do not live locally, communication was key. Chris was very responsive and kept me in the loop during the entire job. My parents were so impressed with the men that worked at the house and noted how diligent and precise they were with every step of the process. Excellent contractor and workmanship. We had two large sliding glass doors replaced, large window over one of the doors replaced, side and front door replaced as well. Work completed perfectly without any issues or re-work. Great communication and follow up. Recommend without hesitation.

What a pleasure it was to watch professionals perform a tough project. Putting an egress window thru a basement concrete wall is not an easy task. The diligence and craftsmanship was outstanding. 5 star rating in my opinion, and would highly recommend to anybody.

In a previous review of Chris Smith and his subs, we noted how pleased we were and that we would not hesitate to contact him again for another project. Well, we did and once again were greatly impressed with his response (within the hour) and with the crew who came and painted all of the trim on our house. A great bunch of hard and talented workers who left the place looking like new.
