Very cute shop! I love that Roanoke has a local bookstore. They will have all the big name new titles as well as classics and great used book options. I would highly recommend checking here and shopping local before you decide to order online or visit B&N!

Owner Doloris went out of her way to find the right books for my 9-year-old grandson. She then located, and ordered a difficult-to-find out of print photo book for me. A terrific experience!

What a delightful find! My husband and I were in town for the weekend. We had breakfast in the neighborhood and then popped in to the bookstore to peruse their selection. This little shop is packed to the gills with books - but it doesn’t feel claustrophobic - it’s cozy in the best possible way. The staff is knowledgeable and friendly without being pushy. We happily bought three more books to put on our pile of books to read.

So much to browse for such a small space! I was particularly impressed by the nonfiction essays (up on the 2nd floor, next to the culinary section) and the books on Roanoke and local history. Service at the counter was incredible, made some great conversation and got recommendations for further reading. I'll definitely come here again.
