“I’ve used American freight several times in a different state, however this time I went to the location in Roanoke by Tanglewood Mall. I am completely blown away by the service provided by Dakota and his team! This was by far the best experience I’ve ever had!!! Dakota went above and beyond customer service and I wouldn’t hesitate to go back in the future. But I’ll be going to the Roanoke location from now on, lol. Oh and Hannah was a total sweetheart too. Thank you guys for all of your help, I love my new bedroom set!!”
“If you are into DIY appliance repair, this is a great local place to get parts quick rather than the web. Prices may be a little less competitive than online but you can get your appliance up and running much faster than waiting days or weeks for a shipment. Plus, it is nice to help a local business (and, yes I know they are regional).”

“Today was my first visit to Austin’s, because we are remodeling our kitchen. I have always used Lowe’s or Home Depot in the past, but never again. This was such a pleasant transaction—no begging for a sales associate to help you with the refrigerators, only to be told “I’ll try, but I’m from the paint department” or “we only deliver on this day at this time.” Super pleasant and VERY helpful. You get what you pay for.”
“They have always been our go to place for all of our vacuum needs. They are no longer at Valley View Mall...they moved to Franklin Rd in SW Roanoke. The old store was amazing but the new location is sooooo much better. Very easy to get in and out of and it is a freestanding location so they have their own parking lot!”

“Walked in for a return and new purchase. The place had a vibe of odd customers and many employees behaving like it’s their first day on the job. It all changed when an angel from power tools offered to help. Home Depot employee KATHY was helpful and knowledgeable. I left happy with my reciprocating saw and she guided me to future purchases for future home improvements.”

“The staff is so helpful here, I hope this is just the beginning of their careers. I'll never get that credit card they keep pushing (hence the 4 stars- I know they can't help it). But, I've learned so much about soil, gloves and hoses in two weeks that idk if this is a Home Depot or an agricultural school. I love this location. And my puppy does even more!”
