What a nightmare. I purchased a matching set of washer/dryer here. Within 2 days, the washer wouldn’t drain. I called-they said they would bring a new set, although the dryer was fine, I just want to wash my clothes! They did-only the set was much MUCH older(maybe a 98-2000 model. Within washing 5 loads(I live alone-just my clothes ) the washer drum came completely away from the inside of the machine-making a horrible banging sound and shaking away from the wall. When I called this time-they said “sorry, it’s been more than 30 days, we’ll give you money towards purchasing another—from them. No thanks!!! after juggling my schedule twice to have them come and go, and the guys who delivered it took my door off the hinge, I had to call maintenance to put it back-nope. Had to leave Atleast one star to give this review, should be a -5 stars. I’ll be going to a reputable store that backs their products with a warranty and purchasing another set-I’m out of the money I spent on this junk. I will not be going back, or suggesting them to anyone else. Whoever refurbishes these items doesn’t know what they’re doing. SAVE YOUR MONEY AND GO ELSEWHERE!

Totally enjoyed working with the staff who are super helpful and am also totally enjoying my new refrigerator. The salespeople are a lot more knowledgeable and helpful than you will find in the big box stores. They all really know about the products they are selling and are willing to share that knowledge with their customers. Delivery was timely and they worked extra hard to install the refrigerator which is not as easy as just unloading it. I will be back!

Now have 3 used major appliances from here. They deliver, install, and haul away your old one. Appliances look like new!!! Clean, spotless.Friendly knowledgeable people. My used appliances have been working perfectly for years. Can't say enough good about this business.

Appliance outlet had the best customer service I have had in a long time. Cheap delivery fee, no extras to buy. Delivery guys went beyond my expectations. I will definitely be buying all my appliances here from now on.

Purchased a fridge that didn’t fit. Guys were awesome in getting another one out the SAME DAY so we wouldn’t be without a fridge. Awesome customer service!!

I bought a dishwasher and was charged $175.00 for the installation. I received no phone calls when it was back ordered or when it arrived. I had to do all the follow up on my purchase. They were 3 1/2 hours late for the install. When I called the office to follow up on why they were late. I was told “I have other customers here so here’s the number to the driver y’all figure it out”. The install was done improperly, left over parts, loose door, kick plate hanging off, etc. I went to talk to them in person. We made arrangements today for them to redo the installation. No phone calls. They were a no show!!!!!!!! This was the second time I took a day off to deal with these people with nothing to show for it. Save your money and your time because this company isn’t interested in offering customer service or a good experience. Once they have your money it’s over!

Friendly and competent staff at the store. The delivery team carried the washing machine and dryer upstairs and were very careful not to bump anything in the house. They hooked up everything just right and did a quick operations test. Glad to support a local business that's providing great service

Had the worst costumer service from 2 employees at this store on August 8 2023. Bought a New refrigerator and stove approximately 30 days ago and the Refrigerator stopped working. Lost all the food in the refrigerator and freezer. The 2 employees that I talked to was less than helpful

Customer service is bad.I bought a washer and I don't know anything about this appliances, I thought it was a washer dryer, and the associate also said it was, turned not to be, even thought in the invoice he wrote washer dryer combo, is just the washer and he never came up straight, also not responding messages and calling to drop the unit earlier the same delivery day, which I couldn't get home so the never delivered , I had to call to schedule again for a 1000 dlls washer, if not i bet they wouldnt had call me at all. Sometimes, being foreign is on the losing side. I'm trying to support the local bussines, and they rip me off. They can't cancel cause they will charge me 20%, so I had to stick with it.Is it that hard, to be honest? For a couple of bucks, it is not worth sacrificing for a sale.

I bought a speed queen washer and dryer 2 weeks ago. They were great at sales, great at delivery. But my washer wasn’t working right. After every wash I had to unplug it and wait a minute and plug it back in. Then it would work.I tried everything ; holding the 3 second button down etc. I called appliance outlet here in Roanoke, Va. once the sale was made, when I called they were very flippant and gave me a number to call which I did and got a recording. No one has called me back. It’s very frustrating to pay so much money for something that hasn’t worked from the beginning. I feel as though once the sale was made it was no more nice guy. Yet I’m stuck here with over a $2000 washing machine that doesn’t work. So I’d have to say appliance outlet in Roanoke will not be getting anymore of my business. I’d like to edit this review, I was wrong about the washer, the cold water had been turned off but idk how, nevertheless the owner sent someone out a few days after my original review and figured it out. I’d like to apologize to the owner and I would purchase here again. Hence, sometimes we jump to conclusions. And I’m guilty of that in this situation. My sincere apologies. Lora, Deaver

The stove at my rental house died on me, so I gave Steve a call at Appliance Outlet to see what used ovens they had. Got a great deal on a slightly used stainless oven and my tenants were very happy. It was delivered promptly and set up for them. She was actually having a baby that morning and Appliance Outlet worked it in around their schedule. Great customer service!
