Delivery 1- I was told that a line test would be done. I was home as well as my cameras watch the entire delivery. No test was performed. However, I was charged for it. The delivery guy ran the line to my tank filled and left.
Delivery 2- I paid to have the tank filled completely. The tank was filled to 50%. I called to follow up and was told the driver did not have enough in his tank to fill it up. I was told a check would be mailed to me and I still have not received it approx two months later. I also requested to speak to a supervisor regarding my issues. The representative was extremely unhelpful and refused to transfer me to a supervisor. She then pretended to transfer me and disconnected the call.

Had to switch suppliers after this last incident. They let our tank go empty for the 4th time. We were on a 2 week re-fill schedule. On June 17, they had not yet come out since May 5th. This was a commercial account and it forced us to close our business. On previous incidents, when we called for a refill, they said they could be there within 4 days. Totally unacceptable. Clearly, they don't want our business. Also, their prices have gone much higher than any other supplier. If you're considering propane, be sure to do your own research to compare prices and services.

I must agree with the myriad comments regarding the poor customer service and unkept promises from AmeriGas. I installed a home generator and needed a larger tank, but AmeriGas is no longer providing tanks in my area. I therefore notified them that I wished to close out my account and have them remove my existing tanks. I was given three appointment dates for the tank removal, and all three dates came and went with no call, no notification, and no technician in sight. Customer service is outsourced to another country, and they only provide scripted responses in broken English. I strongly suggest you search for a local company, as I did.

These people will absolutely take you to the cleaners and charge you fee after fee, go somewhere else!
They'll even charge 200 bucks just to close your account! It's like NJ you get charged to get out!

Driver arrived when I was told he would be here. I had just started down the road for a walk so I turned around. Driver was friendly and courteous. We had a good conversation while he was here.

It’s not AmeriGas anymore. What it is they don’t even have office hours locally and you get transferred to a call center out of country. The call center is so noisy you can’t even hear, yet alone understand what they are saying. They have a script to go by and offer no soulution. I had numerous appointments for a tank placement. They never showed after spending $300 to rent a trench digger and the time and labor to dig. Sent me 3 texts about the appointment scheduled and waiting all day for nobody to show. Now I have a big trench dug in my yard , no tank, no heat for my house. Go local, this company has become a joke. They need to change the name to non American gas.
