Ok do yourself a favor and don’t subscribe to AAA . I got a subscription last year and hoped I would never use it but I was driving on 581 in Roanoke and my car broke down in the middle of nowhere. It was about 1100 pm and it took forever to finally talk to a person and I told them I needed a tow. She took down all my info and said the would get a tow truck dispatched to me. I waited for hours and kept calling to try to find out when they were coming to no avail. I finally called a friend to pick me up at 2 am and put the keys under the floor mat. I went home and called the aaa back and this is when they told me they wouldn’t be able to dispatch a wrecker until 8 am. I’m not sure why the first woman said a wrecker was on the way but I wished they would’ve been truthful so I didn’t have to wait for 4 hours for a wrecker. They called about 9 am and said a tow truck was on the way and get this….they charged me 25 dollars saying the tow was over 5 miles so that’s extra. They towed me from the elm ave exit ramp to the Firestone on Hershberger which is 3.2 miles. When I called to question the charge and dispute the 5 miles they said the miles started at their place. Please just call your insurance company and add a tow package to it. It’s just a few extra dollars and at least they are honest. My mom used to give me a AAA card for my birthday every year when I was young and I used it many times back in the day but this place has changed so much.

I contacted AAA at 12:54 pm as I needed to have my car towed in Roanoke, Virginia. I was initially told the towing company would arrive by 2:20 pm. I was waiting with my car and at 2:32 I was told it could be as late as 4:30. They told me they had to change towing companies. Later they had to change companies again and it was not until 5:40 pm when the third company's driver arrived. Shannon with Fetch Towing out of Rocky Mount did a fantastic job and had my vehicle towed and I was on my way in well under an hour. Terrible customer service. I asked to speak to a supervisor and now 24 hours later I still haven’t heard back from anyone.

Went online in the AAA app to buy discounted Disney tickets. I knew ahead of time that after buying thru AAA I'd have to link the tickets, somehow, to the Disney Experience app on my phone. What AAA nor Disney tell u in their confirmation emails is HOW to do this and it isn't straight forward! Found it to be convoluted and far from seamless and I wasn't able to figure it out on my own, even after searching the web. Knew there must be others who went thru this, went to the Roanoke office for help. Got hooked up w Guss Payne who's been thru it before and he was able to save the day and quickly work thru the process and get my tickets loaded into the Disney app. Thanks Guss!

Being a member we have easy access to maps, tour books and other travel info free of charge. They schedule trips, cruises, etc. Plus AAA offers roadside assistance.

Our battery died and we called AAA. The guy from the Sevierville location arrived quickly and instantly resolved our issue.
