“Dr Claffey is excellent with our pup - he can be difficult to handle and does not like going to the vet. We have seen Dr Claffey twice now and have been so impressed - he came up with a regimen and protocol to make vet visits less stressful for him.I called with a question on a day Dr Claffey was out, and Dr Hansen called personally and was very thorough. I have complete trust in both of them!The front desk staff is also wonderful.”

“Everyone at Blacksburg Animal Clinic has impressed my husband and me with their knowledge, compassion, and especially their kindness...on the phone and in person (much-appreciated customer service). They genuinely care about our sweet 12 1/2 year-old yellow lab, and it's obvious that she senses it. No matter how poorly she feels, she always gets excited when we arrive at BAC. We've used their boarding services, and she seems very well cared for during her stays. We hate ever having to leave her, but the loving care that she receives makes it so much easier. “I took my old lady boxer mix to Companion Animal Clinic to be seen for a limping issue that has been ongoing. Dr. Fabrizi explained everything he was seeing to me and really listened to all my concerns to develop a plan. After taking my dog to 4 previous veterinarians who gave me an NSAID for the limping and sent me home, Dr. Fabrizi and I finally got the root of the issue. I cannot recommend Companion Animal Clinic enough!”
“Im very happy with this vet. They have Taken care of my Gary since he was a puppy. They also helped me get my little rescue Chihuahua Noodle. They were wonderful about me calling everyday to see if the rescue had contacted them. I felt like they were part of my team when I was adopting Noodle.They always have appointments if one of my pups is ill.I really appreciate their kind care.”

“Very sweet and gentle with my new puppy. She's the third dog I've had at their office and have been very happy with the service. My first dog is no longer with me and I will always appreciate the care, understanding and support of the staff during that time. Everyone was always so professional and yet very comforting. My other 2 dogs don't mind going in for checkups or vaccinations. I would highly recommend this office to anyone who has a pet they love.”

“I had to rush my senior Pug to them this morning because he had a lot of blood in his stool. I'm so grateful they are open on Sundays! They were very thorough and helped alleviate my fears. He had started medication a few days ago that were too strong a dosage and that irritated his tummy and intestines. No unnecessary tests were done and they filled his prescription so I didn't have to wait for my pharmacy to fill it tomorrow. It wasn't an inexpensive visit, but to me it was worth it. If I have another emergency after my vets hours, I will certainly utilize their services again. All of the staff are very kind and thorough!”
“We took our dog to Town and Country for an emergency visit. Our experience was excellent. We did have to wait a little but they are an emergency facility and it is understandable that there is some wait time. That said, the vet was very caring and addressed our dog's health issue with great expertise. Dr Nick Canevari repaired a previous surgery from another vet. He has monitored our dog's recovery, which we are grateful. We would recommend this facility to anyone. The staff is kind as well as other vets we made contact with through this ordeal. We live in Salem and have a great local vet. If we needed any service our vet wasn't able to provide we will, without hesitation, come to T & C.”
