“I've been going to Modern for a few years now. I'm writing a review because they really came through this morning. I was filling up my tires when a pin came out in one of them, and it started rapidly deflating. A minute later I was rolling into the Modern Automotive parking lot on the rim.The folks there saw me pull my one-year-old out and got to work diagnosing the issue while letting me know my options. Within 45 minutes, I was leaving that lot as good as new!I appreciate the empathy and information. Modern Automotive made this potential emergency into a painless experience.”
“Got in my vehicle this morning and my tire pressure monitor let me know one tire was at 16 PSI. I called my son to patch it for me and he asked me to bring it to him and watch the children while he fixed it, but his family has the stomach bug, so we called Tire Discounters and they were great! Everyone there was very friendly, they were able to get it repaired and saved me from going to the virus hole. Thank you for taking care of the nail hole and saving me $$!”
“We went to M&M on a recommendation from our son in law. We have an older model Toyota with a little over 100k miles. It has been well maintained and we want to keep it that way. We asked M&M to do a trip check- belts and hoses, fluids, a good overall check up. They were thorough, professional and very pleasant.While there for pick up, another customer was questioning something about his charges. The fellow waiting on us spoke up and said that he may have given partial information to the spouse of the customer and apologized for the confusion. That honesty and ownership is important!! We will be back!”
“My daughter is a student at VT and I've been encouraging her to find a trustworthy mechanic. It's hard for young women to find a place where they get treated well IMO. She went there just for an oil change. Could not have been a better experience. Even though her boyfriend was with her they talked to *her*. Didn't talk down to her. Found some things that needed attention (eventually) but didn't pressure her to get stuff fixed. She's there for 4+ years so really happy she found a trustworthy mechanic.”
“This is probably one of the best repair shops I’ve been too. I was passing through town and needed an emergency brake pad replacement. Their schedule was tight but they were still able to get me in along with additional repairs in less than an hour. 10/10 recommend their services.”

“Sean and the front desk employees were awesome. I seen so many bad reviews on United mufflers shop AFTER I took my car (which worried me after they started working on it) to be worked on. I seen comments about them not fixing what they was suppose to, to expensive, Sean was rude or sean didn't know what he was talking about but I have to disagree with all of that. I just moved to VA from WV and went for inspection and was rejected for many things. I was wondering why he was taking tires off, checking the E-break and lifting the hood (they don't do that in WV) and he politely explained to me all of the VA state laws for inspection stickers. Sean could have potentially saved me and my family's life for there was many things wrong with my car that I didn't know that was very dangerous. He showed me everything that he seen was wrong with it. He didn't just claim there was a problem just so he could make some money like some of these reviews had stated. I don't see him as a "rip off" because he thought I needed both rear bearing to begin with but then called me at a later time to tell me I only needed one. If he was a rip off he would have replaced both and charged me for it. I dropped my car off on a Wednesday and was told it would be done Thursday (that's awesome for the amount of work it needed) but there wasn't enough time to get it done Thursday so I was told by front dest sean was only coming in Friday (it was good Friday and they are closed) just to finish mine but they didn't. I wished they would have called to let me know it wasn't going to be done Friday because that made us finding a way to get our Easter pictures and getting to church a little complicated. That's the only reason why they got a 4. If it wasn't for the no contact thing they would have absolutely gotten a 5! I'd recommend united muffler to you. I will return for any future needs.”
“I want to extend my extreme gratitude to BJ at NTB! Our daughter is a student at VT, on her way to work she was having tire pressure issues. Due to her tire possibly having something in it causing the leak they needed to look closer to find the leak issue. Rather than having my daughter get an Uber to work BJ actually gave my daughter a ride to work, found and fixed her tire issue ensuring she had a safe vehicle to travel home in for the holiday!
