I got to this dollar general at 9:50pm and I understand they close at 10pm. I’m fully aware. When I got to the door, it was locked so when I knocked on it, the employee came up to the door. They didn’t say hello just unlocked the door and said “we close in 10 min” and then I said “yes, I’m just here to pick up something really quick and I’ll be out of the way.” I proceeded to back of the store to get what I needed and within that 2 minutes time. Another employee came to tell me that they close in 8 minutes. Then other employee that let me in screamed across the store that they closed in 5 mins. I said yes I know. Then the employee screamed again, “we are closing”, I looked at my watch and had another 2 minutes. Then the moment they actually close, which we know at this point is 10pm. The employee walks over and says “hey, we’re closed.” I didn’t make anyone stay any later than they should have. It was just over the top and kind of rude. If they would’ve just left me be, I would’ve had my stuff picked out in less than four minutes, and I would’ve been out. They just couldn’t leave me be. Also, locking the door 10 minutes before you close that’s a little extreme. There was also somebody inside of the store checking out so I guess the real question is, if I knocked on the door and no one was there at all, would they even let me into begin with? I doubt that. I’ve been told by other friends that the close 10-30 mins early all the time. This was a Sunday.

The movies are extremely overpriced and on top of that they are in the window getting sunfaded. Dont blame it on streaming or digital why yall cant sell them, blame it on the way yall poorly display them and the eye gouging high prices.

We bought a gallon of milk 2 days ago instead of driving into town and what a mistake as we havent bought clover valley milk in quite some time. Milk tastes horrible and apparently it's a problem that a lot of people are complaining about online. When you try to call the store it's a Danville number that never answers. Horrible customer service and sub-par products. Very disappointed.
