Worth Moving recently moved us from Chesapeake, VA, to New Braunfels, TX. Matt Smith, owner, and his staff, provided exceptional customer service. Matt responded to every phone call, text, and email in a timely fashion. The staff was punctual, curteous, and answered any concerns or questions. Our driver Melvin, was outstanding. Our household goods arrived in perfect condition. Worth Moving provided free boxes, packing paper, and tape. I would highly recommend.

Our furniture and household items were destroyed by Worth Moving. We paid $20K for moving and storage and had to spend another $11K to replace the missing and destroyed furniture. 2 Leather dining chairs (one seat was ripped and the other had it's leg completely ripped off), all 4 kitchen chairs had stains on the seats and legs broken, bar stools had stains on seats, dinette table's base was broken off. (they tried to hide the damage), missing ironing board, missing ALL bed casters (our beds were not packed with the hardware), leather office chair ripped, hole in 1 year old sofa, damage to wood coffee table and dresser (moving blankets were too thin and wrapped too tight and the wood finished was completely rubbed off), wood cabinet and white cabinet completely destroyed, 1 year old treadmill broken, black table leg broken off, dented craftsman tool bench, and much more. We spoke with the president of the company the night we moved in and had no beds. He said it was very important to him for us to have the hardware and they would reimburse us and to send the receipt. When we tried to send it, he said to file a claim and wouldn't reimburse us for the casters that they lost. They gave us no compensation and we were just told to file a claim and they would pay 60 cents/ lb of damage. What a joke! VERY disappointing!
In response to your response below, we aren't sure why you would be confused. Your employees witnessed the damages that were done to our household goods. We haven't filed a claim because the small amount of money we would get reimbursed for the damages you caused would be a joke. We trusted you with our furniture and you FAILED miserably. Had we been told that you would ruin our furniture to the extent you did before signing the contract, we would have increased the valuation. We noticed you didn't even address the lie about reimbursing us for the bed hardware in your response. We also forgot to mention how well we took care of your employees....feeding them lunch and dinner both days and providing drinks throughout the days.They were well taken care of. We didn't deserve the devastation we received.

The company was VERY easy to work with and were gracious to accommodate our schedule. These guys were very efficient and on time! They were very careful with our belongings. Thank you to movers Melvin, Joel Robinson, Dom, and Sha. The most polite, helpful, considerate, movers we could have ever hoped for! We will definitely be recommending them to our friends and family!

I’ve moved a lot over the years and I’m very happy and grateful for this seamless local move with Worth Movers. From working with Matt Smith about scheduling details to watching Cameron and DeeDee wrap and move the furniture, it was an easy and reassuring experience. I felt they would move my things with care, and they did. They were responsive via text, phone and in person. I was also always treated with courtesy and professionalism. They arrived promptly preceded by a courtesy call to confirm they were on the way. This was exceptional service for a moving company and was the best experience I’ve had.
Note: I frankly don’t understand some of the comments a few others have left. My experience was definitely 5 star and I’d use them again and recommend them to others.

This was my second time using Worth Moving. They moved my parents an hour away in 2018 and I recommended them to a friend moving from Virginia to Tennessee a little over a year ago. She was very pleased, as well. So, I hired Matt's company to handle my move from SC to VA. It was a big move from a large downtown condo building to another condo building in Northern VA. Overall, my move went well. Matt sent me a great team (Melvin, DayDay, Derrick and Simba) who arrived 4 hours early to SC the day of my move. They packed up my condo and storage room in a day and a half. I was very comfortable working with them. There was a day of travel and then most of the team arrived in Northern VA on the 4th day to unload. Cameron joined the team on this day. It was nice to have the continuity of movers on both ends of the move as they already knew my items and where they would most likely go. Very helpful.
All communication with Worth was good and they showed up when they were expected, even early.
This was a big move. I am settled and happy on the other end. I needed experienced, caring movers to make that happen. Worth handled it well.

Worth moving was professional and courteous. They were quick and efficient with both the loading and unloading of all of our furniture and boxes. They also were able to drive directly from one address to another in a different state without our things sitting in a holding area. They were very accommodating with the time frame we needed. Would recommend every time!

Soo grateful for hiring Worth Moving for my move to Richmond. I was nervous at first, but my household goods were successfully transported with no damage. They provided me a free in home estimate and the employees are very professional and efficient.
My Wardrobe was put in cordial boxes, furniture was perfectly wrapped and my upholstered furniture shrink wrapped and mattresses put in hypoallergenic mattress bags.
They took care of all my electronics from my tvs to studio equipment. They relocated my STUDIO equipment and set it back up!
My Heirloom baby grand piano was transported w no damage or scratches and my heirloom China in their special dish packs.
They also stored my stuff for two weeks in their secure climate controlled warehouse until I could move into my new home! Thank you so much…
