I went to the branch to close my account. Spoke with an individual who said she was the manager and there was nothing to worry about, the account would be closed in 48 hours. Two weeks later, I'm still trying just to get them to close the account. There is a zero balance and no reason it should remain open at this point. Customer service says it will be closed in 48 hours. It is still open and I'm trying to get them to simply close the account.
Don't bank here. Bank anywhere else but here.

I had such a warm and welcoming experience here yesterday! I want to acknowledge Janet for her amazing customer service! I was standing in an extremely long line at the customer service desk and Janet came over to offer services to customers who were cashing checks, needed money orders etc to cut down the wait time (how very kind right?!) I needed a money order and based on my interactions with Janet, I wanted to open an account with Woodforest! She waived my fees, gave me me money order no charge and printed me a debit card right then and there. Thank you so very much Janet very being so personable and helpful!!! I would have never opened an account with Woodforest if not for her offering to help customers waiting in the services line at Wal-Mart, as I shop there weekly and never even thought twice about banking at Woodforest but when you have such awesome employees like Janet, it would change a person's mind. The bonus was I relocated to Richmond 2 years ago and have wanted to open an account here but haven't. Im very pleased with the decision I made yesterday! 4 thumbs up!

I drove 30 miles to get here to cash out some money orders. The manager told me she couldn’t do it because I bought it that day, but if I came the next day, she would help me. I drove other 30 miles at the next day, waited 2 hours for her to arrive, to be told that she was not gonna do it. What a bad service, you could have been clear from the begenning

Terrible customer service! Your associate Micha or Michael with the locs wouldn’t give me his name. Nothing like the Nine Mile Road location where the people are friendly and treat you with respect. Needs to learn how to talk to people and mind his own business! He was helping another customer and the young lady was helping me. I asked her about the procedure for a cashiers check and he dipped in and was rude and nasty. I am taking my money out of Woodforest because of this!

They close at 6 pm.I found out after the fact I waisted gas.....Don't get me wrong, the bank itself is great hands down. It's this branch that gives the problems.

If you have an emergency DON'T expect to get an answer when you call! Terrible customer service when dealing with others' money! I'm truly disappointed as I've been banking with them for years!
