I could just about lose my mind shopping this store. So many things! It is a great place to find a little something special for a family member or dear friend (or for yourself). They do a lovely job with gift wrapping too!

Well.. I used to love this shop. But wow.. it's changed. I felt totally judged being in there because I didn't dress the part. One worker was kind to me but the rest gave off such a negative vibe. the lady checking me out only told me the total and asked if I wanted it wrapped. No thank you, no have a nice night, nothing. I won't be returning. And I literally felt in the way to everyone else working there. So.. unless you dress like you have river road money, just don't.

Such a fun store with a a huge selection of gifts, toys, jewelry, clothing, and household goods. If you are looking for unusual gifts, stocking stuffers, or just a treat for yourself, you will not be disappointed. Just be careful what you select, because their return policy is very strict and short in duration, which is understandable given this "store" is comprised of multiple, independent vendors. The Shops at 5807 are a Richmond treasure!

Wow! Amazing gear, owner, and staff! The staff and owner of this place go above and beyond. Not only did they help me find what I was looking for - but they helped immediately! I'd come in with only a vague idea of what I needed and they helped me find an assortment throughout the store of some really cool options. In addition to that, they even wrapped it into a beautiful package with ribbons and got me a box from upstairs for shipping it ! I have never seen this level of service before - what a wonderful experience. I'd do six stars if I could !!

This place is super-fun and super-cute. I was introduced to it just before Christmas, and I wish I had known about it sooner, as I would have done more of my Christmas shopping here. They have lots of cute gifts that are whimsical and fun, and they have a wonderful stationery selection. There is a Virginia-themed area, which is especially nice if you need to get a hostess gift for someone. The store is pretty large, and it seemed like I kept finding things I liked and wanted to buy. I love shopping local and supporting local businesses. This will stay on my list of go-to shopping destinations when I need to find a gift for someone.

It's the return policy that makes this Gift shop-cute collection of vendors an absolute nightmare. It's draconian at 7 days WITH receipt ....WHY would you ever buy a gift for anyone with such a short timeframe? It's rude! What is EVEN WORSE is that you can't return an item for general store credit!!! The credit CAN ONLY BE USED for items THAT VENDOR may still be selling! DO NOT SHOP HERE! It pains me to be so harsh about a collection of what appear to be local vendors, but the severe purchase-return policies are simply unfair. Stay away!

This is such a fun store. This is the perfect place to find a cute gift and something different for your home. I love all of the fabulous Chrismas decorations and locally-made ornaments and art. They have ginger jars! There are gifts for men, which are always such difficult people to buy for. There is a little bit of everything. There is a lot of Richmondcentric stuff. I love it! I can't believe there are negative reviews. It's very clear that the people who work here and have booths here put their heart and soul into it, so even if this isn't your cup of tea, at least respect the fact that there is hard work put into making this a unique and fun place.

Wow, this place is like being inside the mind of someone with a thousand split personalities, and not in a good way. I like variety stores as much as the next person, but this place is not organized well at all, even with its store-within-a-store layout. When I visited a couple weeks ago, it felt like one of those gem and jewelry shows or antiques warehouses filled with stalls of things that are placed on top of each other, in a way that makes you curious but when you get closer, you automatically think "oh, no way." Even when I first walked in, my purse ended up hitting something standing on the side, immediately next to the door. It was so cramped, I felt like I had to keep my purse so close hold while I made my way through the non-sensical maze of vendors. My purpose in coming here in the first place was to find a unique gift, but all I spotted was junky housewares, overly-pricey clothing that was not stylish unless you were going to the beach (where no one cares what you wear), kitschy holiday decorations, and random assortments of personal and home accessories. It was so amazingly disjointed, walking through rooms and areas that were stuffed so much with unnecessary goods. I tried to give it a chance, smelling candles along my route, but they all smelled terrible. I looked at the jewelry, but the designs were wacky and some pieces just weren't made well. I found a top and a dress that I liked, but the prices were outrageous. Then I stumbled upon party games that I thought would be good gifts, but they seemed silly. I am not sure who the clientele is supposed to be here. There are better shops in Richmond that answer the questions, "What should I get the host?" and "What would my mother in law want?" and "What do I want?" in a more one of a kind, thoughtful, and posh way. This place should basically clean out everything, start from scratch by picking only the best vendors, and organize the flow appropriately. It looks like vendors approach them and say "Hey, will you sell this?" and the buyers are like "Yeah, sure, whatever" and there is no curating or filtering for a modern customer. Bottom line: Yikes. Given this place is in the Patterson Avenue area, The Shops at 5807 building needs a makeover.
