We had a slow leak in our C30 tire, and replacement had to be specially ordered. We didn't have to wait more than two days, we were treated with respect, and the vehicle was smooth sailing. We needed more vehicle mechanics (worldwide!) as the work took some time, but the environment in the waiting area was relaxing and comfortable. Service professionals are exceptional.

They wanted to charge me a small fortune again for work that wasn't done right the first time. I paid an arm and a leg to have a major leak in my sunroof fixed; however, only half of the problem was corrected. I'm still left with a water-logged front passenger side footwell which I brought to Bucky's attention. Rather than owning up to the fact they didn't complete the repairs initially, he shifted the blame to another shop for a so-called damaged plug.This place is a den of thieves.

Volvo Cars Richmond service Center amazing service the kindness shown and the constant communication in bringing my 2017 Mitsubishi Outlander in for service Khalilullah texted me throughout the whole process and made sure I was able to get to work while my car was serviced and advised me when the work was done that I would be taken care of to pick up my vehicle y’all gonna make me get a Volvo next. A1 service would recommend to anyone

I choose this Volvo dealership because it is close to my home address. I had to go to the dealership because of a safety recall on my Volvo - air bag needed replacement. I called to request an appointment for service. It was very difficult to get through the phone line options to speak to a person. When I explained I had a safety recall / needed replacement I was told I have to be added to a waitlist till the part came in then I would be called. I had no idea how far I was on the waitlist nor the timing of when the service would happen. I was honestly shocked they followed through and called me when a part was available. My experience at the dealership waiting for my car to be serviced was fine. They have a nice waiting area and coffee bar. I was able to connect to wifi and work. I would not return here for services beyond recalls and would not purchase Volvo here.

Salesperson I worked with (Samy) was great, but I had a bad experience with the finance mgr, Joey Devapalan (as someone else mentioned in a previous review). I was ready to purchase a brand new vehicle the day of my visit, but I ended up taking my business to a different Volvo dealership the following week and making a purchase due to my experience with Mr. Devapalan. I found much of the information he provided during the process to be highly misleading and inaccurate. Something as simple as the math on the estimated rates/payments he provided was flat out wrong. Not only did the math not work, but the estimated monthly payment he provided was a full 15% higher than what I am actually paying on my new Volvo purchased elsewhere. His valuation of my trade-in was a full $5k (25%) less than the estimate I obtained online from the Haley website prior to my visit...his explanation for this large difference left a lot to be desired. I provided very specific feedback about my experience to the GM of this location. A few days later, I got an apology email from Joey basically stating "I'm sorry you felt that way." Not really an apology at all. He also failed to address the very specific grievances I described to the GM in his "apology." Almost made it seem like what I went through was standard operating procedure. I recommend obtaining financing from a different source before heading into this dealership to avoid being taken for a ride.
