It's a post office. I've come here a few times to mail returns and the employees have always been helpful and fast. I don't expect service workers to be full of sunshine and happiness all day, so I don't care about friendliness as long as they aren't intentionally rude. The employees have been friendly every time I've come here. No complaints

Best post office in RVA. Shela is always working when I go and I go here specifically for her. She is so kind and helpful and makes running my errands more enjoyable. I've had less pleasant experiences at other post offices so this is the only one I use. Thank you Shela!

I am tracking a tiny item that weighs all of about 1oz and can fit in someone's shirt pocket. This took all of 2 hours to process through the Lexington KY facility and 4 hours to go from Lexington KY to this facility in Richmond VA. The first postings say this left Richmond on its way to Stafford VA after about 48 hours. Now they have changed it to say that it really didn't leave until another 24 hours after that. So, right now it has already taken 71 hours for this tiny 1 oz. item to process through the Richmond facility and it isn't expected to arrive until Monday at 9pm, or 113 hours later. That means it takes approximately 6 hours to process completely through the Lexington KY facility and travel over 460 miles to Richmond, and then it takes 113 hours to process and travel 71 miles from Richmond to Stafford, REDICULOUS.

The hours are a bit unusual, but the staff has always been really nice and helpful. This is a great post office if you work in the Jackson Ward / Broad St. area during the day.Keep in mind that there's only 1-2 employees there at a time. They close between 10:45 and 12 every day for lunch, so that they can stay open during everyone's regular lunch hours. This is more of a USPS express than an full-size / full service Post Office, but its great for what it is.

The worst Post Office I've ever been to! I do not use the Post Office so for this to be my first encounter with someone there in years & it turns out to be a horrible experience. There was a rude older black male behind the counter who had an inappropriate conversation with a USPS Truck Driver about a woman that works there but wasn't in. Then he acted as though he didn't want to scan my package that needed to be returned to Amazon. When I asked him for a receipt he did it with an attitude as if he didn't want to do his job. The Post Office will hire anyone these days.

Not only is there always a line out that door and only one staff member working here every time I come but the staff is extremely rude. Came at 11 today and they were closed (because their one employee goes to lunch.) Came back at 12 and the lady working wouldn’t sell me stamps because said she didn’t have change for a $5 bill. When I told her that they are business and need to have change so customers can pay with cash. She put her hand in my face. Being short staff is one thing but you guys should teach the few employees you have better customer service. Especially since their are multiple bad reviews on here all saying the same thing!

So bad!!!! Lunch starts at 10:45am... and they will lock the door exactly at that mark if not a couple minutes early. The staff is extremely rude.

One employee. Closes for lunch at 11a. Always act offended and angry that I dared to ask to mail a parcel through their service. Such amazing amounts of apathy within customer service can only be expected from the government.
