I waited for 45 minutes in line to get paperwork faxed bc truist will only take merchant dispute paperwork via max or snail mail, and I don't own a fax. I STILL have not gotten the fax sent bc MONIQUE would not come out of the back of the office to help the ONE teller serve everyone and after 45 minutes waiting in the HOT TINY waiting area with a cluster of other people, I ran out of patience and left. This location is SLOW and never staffed properly.

No one ever answers the phone. They never have any change. What's the point of this bank when you can't do any transactions because they don't have anything?

I went by there thinking that the ATM was working when I saw they had made a branch and I went inside and this LITTLE MAN came up to me and asked “HOW DID YOU GET IN???” with an ATTITUDE!!! I was FURIOUS and asked him “HOW DO YOU THINK??? I WALKED IN!!! The door was UNLOCKED and I wouldn’t have just WALKED IN like that if it was locked!!! I must’ve came in when they were doing more construction because I had no idea it had become a BRANCH when it was a SUBWAY before anything!!! I know you can get BETTER SERVICE if you DON’T go to that branch and I seriously doubt if it stays a branch long!!!

This is one of many complaints I intend to file against "SunTrust now Truist" mortgage office in Virginia, MD. Don't do any business with this unprofessional, unresponsive and a disgrace of a mortgage company. Senior loan officer Alex Le started responsive but as soon as he got our mortgage business he stopped giving any proper support and became rude by neglecting us (his customers) for days and days and with an attitude when pressed for a response after 3 full business days of neglect. We have an appraisal contingency that expires today on the 12th of Oct, and up to this moment (it's 1:40 pm of Oct 12th) we still are without the appraisal or even an idea of when to expect it. Contacting his "manager" Don Crabtree, did not help either, all what we got from him is "this is normal, please be patient". Patient? What do you think we have been since our first request for info on Oct 4th? And how long should I be patient for? Our contingency expires in few hours and we are running a risk of losing thousands od $$$ (EMD) and "SunTrust now Truist" does not care. While we understand that it's a different dept that does appraisals, Alex neglect to interfere or get in touch to speed things up definitely did not help and contributed to this mess. Our RE agent, the Sellers agent also have been contacting Alex Le for info, but his attitude remained arrogant, unprofessional and ignored all of them. Their published phone number is disconnected, Crabtree does not answer his phone and directs you to send him an email. In summary, save yourself the headache, the time, the heartache and probably the money and deal with professionals, these people are NOT!

Sold our loan without changing my mail never knew they changed and continued to pay auto pay then 3 months later got a refund check and had no clue why. Bad communication!!!!!!!!

I called to ask about relief during COVID-19. They cancelled my autodraft without my authorization. I missed a payment as a result and settled a few days later when I realized. Due to that one missed payment, my business of flipping houses and property investment has been destroyed. Banks should be helping right now, not screwing us. I've spent more hours than I can count on the phone with them. ---- It took a couple months and a lot of effort, but the issues is now resolved. Moved my review from 1 star to 3.

I am so disappointed with Suntrust Mortgage. Do yourself a favor and do not go through the aggravation of dealing with these people like I did. I had my original mortgage with them and went to refinance it. They have made the last 2 months of my life a living H_LL. They charged me fees at settlement that were due to mistakes they made and they will not refund me this money. They made so many mistakes that they had to send me at least 10 Closing Disclosures and still did not get correct. They are terrible with escrow accounts and I had to correct them MANY times and argue with them to make corrections. I can document and have documented all facts I am making with them. The people to watch out for are: Michelle Quintero, MGR, never returns calls or e-mails. Daniel Hart, loan processor, made mistakes and was caught in a lie by the settlement attorney/ title company. Brad Fowler, loan rep., who made commitments to my wife and I that all mistakes would be fixed. They are very irresponsible and are always hiding, will NOT give any last names within the mortgage office. There were 2 people in office that at least listened to me and said they would have the appropriate people contact me, they were Brandi and Elliott (however still nothing resolved to date). It is a shame they do not resolve this with me but I will contact the banking authorities. I begged them to quickly confirm they would send me the money unlawfully charged me, no response, of course. Go elsewhere for your banking/ mortgage needs. There are very unscrupulous people working here and you will pay for it if you use them!

Terrible company, they bought our mortgage from another company, and now refuse to provide any service besides taking our money. We're stuck, stay away if you have a choice.
