Don't take your car here. My car got sideswiped and needed minor work done on the driver side and the sideview mirror replaced. Car was deemed unsafe to drive due to the sideview mirror missing. Was quoted they could get the car in immediately and it shouldn't take more than a week. Their tow truck driver showed up a day late and towed it to their shop in North Richmond. I called intermittently to get a status on the vehicle and was always told that they would call me back. They only called me once to get my insurance paperwork (which they never put in or sent to Geico). After 3 weeks, I was told it would be done on Thursday afternoon. I call back Friday afternoon, am told they are working on it, so I go to their shop where it was dropped off and no one is there and my car is not there. I call them back and GET YELLED AT FOR ASKING ABOUT MY CAR. They DROVE my car 30 minutes to their Chesterfield ship when it was UNSAFE TO DRIVE. I know they drove it because my mileage was off by 17+ miles and my car was on fumes and I had to coast to a gas station when I picked it up. When I pick it up, they tried to get me to pay the full estimate that was quoted by my insurance. I tell them that's wrong, we get my insurance on the line and they sort everything out. The owner, Pete, then yells at the insurance person for making a minor mistake that was quickly fixed by my insurance. After driving my car around for a while, I notice that my weather stripping where they fixed my car is coming off (was never like that when I dropped it off) AND they over sprayed and damaged my passenger side window where it has glare that you can't see out of at night or when the sun hits it. Reached out to my insurance to talk to them and they were supposed to call me back but, of course, they never did. This is a garbage business run by garbage people doing garbage work.

Pete and the team did a great job fixing the scratches on my door a touching up other seller scratches on my door and trunk. He was super knowledgeable and explained to me what needed to be done without trying to upset me. The value was amazing! Maaco would have charged me double what Pete did. The receptionist, Kelsey was super sweet and made sure to get all my questions answered before I dropped my car off. And the BEST PART was that I only had to leave it there for 2 days. Hopefully I stop scratching my car but if I need to get it repaired I will definitely be going back to Pete's!!!Service: Painting

Pete was wonderful, and my scratch looks like it never existed. He even repaired another damaged part for me free of charge. Excellent guy, excellent service. I would definitely recommend swinging by here, the prices are fair and the finished products are exceptional!

I can’t say enough good things about Pete and Holly and Smart Fix! I’ve always wanted a pink car. Not only did the help me find the EXACT color of my Mom’s 1967-68 Mustang, they did an amazing paint job at a very reasonable if. It inexpensive price. All my door jams, inside the hood, everything is pink and it’s perfect! Not only did they do an amazing job but they were so kind and I think almost as excited as I was. If you need your car painted or repaired, I wouldn’t even consider going anywhere else. Thank you so much Pete and Holly for making my dream come true!!

They do great work but just do not communicate well. If you have anyone’s vehicle you are suppose to keep the customer updated i should not have to keep calling up to the shop wondering what’s going on with my vehicle.

Really caring and friendly staff, they called me with any updates and I felt good about the whole experience. They dealt with my crazy insurance so I didn't have to - what a honest relief... The work they did looks great, you'd never know I was in an accident.

They did some paint work on my 2019 Mazda. Obviously I was devastated when my nephew had scratched it up. The dealership had quoted me a crazy price and so I shopped around and luckily found them. They did excellent work and now its back to looking like it did when I first drove it off the lot. I am so relieved.

Pete and his crew did a great job. It took a little longer then expected due to the paint issue with my car, Pete wanted it done right. I can't tell you how much I appreciated that. Something that was hopefully a easy job turned out to be a little bit more.

After dealing with some of the other shops in this city I am so thankful to have found this one. The owner of this shop is very helpful and took the time to walk me through everything going on. The work was affordable and professional - wouldn't dream of going anywhere else.
