“The staff had truly incredibly service and knowledge, especially compared to most places these days. I originally was sold a standard width and realized pretty quickly that I needed a wide after wearing them. Only bummer was they had to order them and I had to wait 8 months for the wide to come in but they still honored the swap under their comfort guarantee which is truly awesome IMO.Only complaint is after owning two sets of composite toe shoes (shoe style not boots fyi) from them the quality is definitely not what I expected from redwings for a $210 pair of shoes. Both sets have barely lasted a year total with the soles being completely slick now after only being worn on smooth concrete and the fabric and toe cap both have multiple holes from daily wear in a warehouse setting. My composite toe Adidas have held up significantly better and were only $70.”

Sim made the mold, and the ones I got from him fit much better than my last pair that I had gotten made elsewhere.Sim was also very nice and helpful in helping to create some custom insoles for my Ice Skates (which are very peculiarly shaped boots).I can't recommend them enough!”

So my suggestion would be to go there to ensure you have the right fit and then expect to go back a week or two later to pick up things that you would order.”
“My husband and I came to Richmond for the weekend and he forgot his jacket for dinner. Picked Franco’s to see what they had and to replace a “tired” black jacket. Excellent treatment from both Mitch and Franco, and they altered the jacket (Replaced the buttons and shortened the sleeves) in an hour! I could have spent all day in there shopping for him! Quality of the items and service top~notch! Expect to make an investment, but it will be worth every penny!”
