We have Travelers Insurance and they deal with Safelite. Unfortunately we had a rock hit our windshield so we needed to see if we had to repair or replace. The technician was great. Told us that it had to be replaced due to the area where one of the cameras were. Safety issue. Very professional. We walked back in and the representative set us up for an appointment to replace.

Terrible service. I went to get my windshield replaced and when I went to pick my car up there were more damages in multiple areas of the vehicle. When I brought it up to them they disregarded my concern at first. I went back for them to replace one of the issues and I also had to get a quote from a body shop to repair the other damages. Now they're complaining saying they dont agree with the quote and expect me to continue to shop for other quotes for what they caused... Ridiculous

I wish I had read all these bad reviews before going with where my insurance company sent me. The window of time for the crack repair was between 1 - 6. Ryan the repair guy called 8:30 am to confirm and let me know that he had “a lot” of appointments today… as if that is any of my concern. Ryan called at 4:15 to again let me know how “they’ve had him running all over to appointments” today and that he had two more people to see before he could get to me. Uh, ok. Ryan called again at 5:43 to let me know he was on his way to me now… great. Ryan Called at 5:54 to let me know he was at my car. I live downtown and my paid parking space is about 2 blocks up from my apartment. I let him know I was on my way to the car. This guy had the nerve to call me four minutes later yelling and said, “Are you coming?!!” He had the most indignant and rude tone in his voice. At that point I was so annoyed because I had been waiting around for him since 1:00 that afternoon and this dude had the unmitigated gall to rush me after waiting four whole minutes for me to walk to my car. This guy was extremely combative and had the nerve to ask me, “Are you having a bad day?” when I got to my car. We definitely had words after that remark so I let him really know how I felt and how unprofessional he’d been, whining to me about all the other appointments he had that day. I told him that he no longer needed to speak to me, just do what he came there to do which is fix the crack in my windshield. While he was working, he got a call from another customer and he explained to him why he was running late. After he hung up, this unprofessional guy says to me, “See, he was very understanding.” Basically chastising me and letting me know how nice and understanding his other customer was compared to me. I couldn’t even believe what was happening. After I told him that I would leave this review, he tried to back peddle and asked me what could he have done to make it better. Seriously?? This Safelite will never do anything for me again. Safelite in Chesapeake, VA has serviced my car a couple times over the years and have always been amazing. But this one in Richmond, not at all. Ryan was horrible. And based on the many other reviews, safelite has a much larger service quality problem. Don’t put yourself through it.Also, I received a text saying that Ryan was on his way to my car that included a photo of a guy letting me know who my service person was. The photo was not of the person who actually serviced my car. That is a complete safety risk. How are you sending out photos that don’t correspond with who you’re actually going to be working with??! Safelite really needs to get their act together.

They didn’t replace my windshield right so I had puddles of water in my floorboard plus when they replaced my windshield again they left my floorboards soaking wet after they said they would dry them

Both my vehicles needed a windshield repair. I had 2 scheduled appointments. The people at Safelite Solutions (an affiliate company of Safelite AutoGlass) weren't able to answer my questions and tried to connect me to the shop. I waited on hold for a while, and then I got disconnected. I tried to call myself and got a computer. The computer wouldn't connect me and hung up on me. I immediately canceled my appointments and went elsewhere. The customer service was so much better at the local shop I chose that I don't plan on going through Safelite ever again.

Safelite has gone in the toilet. Used to be fantastic service and customer support. Now you can't even get a human to talk to you. 04 civic. leaked within a month and both left and right trim pieces broken.

Hey there! Just wanted to share my recent experience with Safelite Auto Glass. If you have them in your car insurance, you're in luck! They provided me with excellent customer service when I needed a front windshield replacement. To top it off, they even took care of cleaning up the broken glass from a previous theft break-in into my vehicle and gave me a plastic window wrap until my appointment. I was impressed and would highly recommend Safelite Auto Glass to anyone in need of their services.

Super professional, nice and quick! Made the appointment two hours prior to visit and it only took about 30 min. to have all 3 cracks repaired, ending with a lifetime warranty on the work. Excellent customer service!

Worst experience ever. Dropped my car off at 8:05a and it wasn’t until 6pm when the window was finished. Why would it take 10 hrs. And I had an appointment. How many cars were pushed in front of mine throughout the day. This is totally unacceptable

Called ahead of scheduling appointment to ensure windshield was in stock. Moved my schedule to fit appointment window and no one shows up (no call, text, email). I reach out to them when office reopens next day only to be told the “windshield had to be ordered”. No explanation or concern for the lack of communication. I’m then told it arrived today but they cannot assist me today and they will call later with update. No thanks.

Canceled two appointments a week apart from each other on same days notice, then tried to reschedule for another week out because they don’t have “any available employees”.Unreliable and not the kind of place you want to have work done. After reading Y E L P reviews I am thankful this place didn’t touch my windshield, the reviews are absolutely horrible and consistent with my experience.Know that you have a choice where your windshield is repaired or replaced. Do not let your insurance company send you here, we chose another in network provider, a local family owned company who gave me a same day appointment and very pleasant, unlike this place.

Carter and Connor provided outstanding customer service! I would definitely recommend Safelite based on the experience they provided. They were both knowledgeable, friendly, and professional. I was also in and out fast! My driver's side window was replaced in under an hour! Thanks for taking care of your clients guys and actually having pride in your job! That's a rarity these days in the post-Covid business world! ??

Got a ding in windshield. $180 later it started spreading. They said they will only apply balance to new windshield.
