The absolute best shop in town. The two brothers that own this business are the nicest most honest operators I have ever met, and I worked locally in the industry for 10 years. You walk in and they remember your name and vehicle. The decline work if it's not needed (I often ask if my car is ready for a rotation or alignment and they will let me know if it isn't necessary). Prices are super fair, the work is fast and flawless. Highly, highly recommended.

I'll just state the facts. Brought my car in first thing in the morning because it was making a roaring sound after 35mph. RVA called me at the end of the day and told me both front wheel hubs were shot. Repair would be $951 to replace both hubs. I told them I can't afford it so can they just tally up the bill and I'll pick the car up tomorrow. They charged $82 for the test drive. Brought the car to a repair shop close by the next day. They said one hub on driver side was bad. The new shop charged me $244 and the car now runs fine.

Great service. I came in for my state inspection during lunchtime on a week day and was in and out super fast! I had told my boyfriend (who came with me) that I didn't understand how they could've changed the oil that fast and he told me that they don't change your oil during a state inspection. Don't ask me why but I just assumed that if my oil light was on during a state inspection they'd have to change the oil. So I asked the guys if they could also change my oil. Instead of being upset that I didn't tell them that before they worked on my car they just told me I'd have to wait a little longer but they'd get it done. Once again they got me in and out as fast as you can do for an oil change. Boyfriend and I both checked and they didn't try and overcharge me for anything which is always nice to see as a woman who doesn't really understand cars (my boyfriend; however, is a huge car person)

This station is soo sad. This reminds me of the Amtrak stations dotted all over the deep south back in the mid 70s. Amtrak has not changed one bit. Unkempt agents behind window, outdated and dirty seating, overpriced thinly stocked concessions, filmy tiled floors. Mind you there was a super diligent female worker sleeping and tidying up outdoor seating but this is still a sad station. Theres a ticket kiosk to purchase tickets, parking for $8.00 a day, restrooms and lots of outdoor seating which is nice I'm sure on warmer days. There's a McDonalds and CVS in birds eye view so you are able to walk to both in less than three minutes and get your travel necessities. The station is so low slung it looks like a subterranean baseball dug out. Amtrak takes the term monopoly too far. An update is in order. The agents were friendly to all passengers making inquiries and the snack booth agent was very nice. He was wondering why I was taking pictures (No I'm not the Dept. of Health! Just trying to up my Yelp status). Staples Mills Station is stuck in a time passed by. Many of the most remote Eurorail stations and Japanese stations run circles around this place. But it's Amtrak. The train was on time, extremely clean on the inside, and the seats were huge and comfortable. I love Amtrak, just not this station.

The station is clean but in desperate need for an update. No outlets to charge. There's a mini convenience store with snacks but no actual food like sandwiches. But for what it's worth it's, sufficient. I can't imagine it getting busy like NY Penn.

My first train ride. Very nice. The staff and passengers were very helpful to this "train ride newbie". The trains and stations were very clean and comfortable. The stations I visited were not fancy at all, but got the job done. The highlight for me was how easy train travel is compared to flying. Much nicer and less hassle. The bullet trains now have my support!!

I visited this station recently to retrieve a friend visiting me from out of town. Otherwise I had just seen it from the train as I headed to and from Main Street on other trips. From the train, it doesn't look like much. But from the street side, they have a huge parking lot and even a queue where you sit in your car and wait for whomever you're picking up. Nice! Unless I move from my current downtown location, Main Street will still continue to be more convenient for me...but I wouldn't mind leaving from Staples Mill, either. It also had a loud intercom that announced trains as they arrived and departed. Pretty nice station from what I saw.

I was very impressed by the quality of work performed as well as the customer service. The guys at RVA auto service are top notch and I plan on coming back for all my auto service needs. The guys are honest and genuinely want to help. 10/10 would recommend.

Simple, clean and plenty of parking. The station does not have a raised platform making the first step up a big one. Not much in terms of amenities. So, if you wanted to grab a lunch/dinner before getting on the train, stop somewhere else on your way to the station.

One of the better locations with nice and efficient service. Drinks are almost always prepared correctly and consistently.

This Amtrak Station is better than most. It has a large, lighted and secure pay parking lot. It has attended ticket window. Most stations have only a kiosk. It has clean bathrooms. It has a covered area for drop-off and pick-up. It has a snack bar, with hot food and beverage options. There are several vending machines with snacks and beverages near the bathrooms. It has a HDTV tuned to the news station. It has a large monitor that indicates train numbers, destinations and current status. In addition, there is a PA system that announces arrivals and departures for those who might be hearing impaired. There are attendants to help those in need with their bags. This location supplements the downtown Richmond Main location and offers more frequent service to the North & South. They also sell large boxes such as bicycle transport boxes if needed. Overall, the service & amenities offered here are well about the general & usual services for the majority of Amtrak stations I've used & visited in the North East & South East.

This is the closest Dunkin' Donuts to my house and my son loves the coffee cake muffins. It can get pretty packed in here, but it's an average DD chain store. I noticed a lot if inconsistency with how they make my collars because I pretty much order it the same way all the time and a few times, it's awful depending on who makes it, I guess. Otherwise nothing that stands out from any other DD.

I always get exceptional service and great coffee at this location. If there is a line it always moves quickly and there are plenty of tables available if you want to sit down.
