Just walked in for the first time today. The owner and her staff were so kind, warm and engaging! The produce was priced very well. They carry a selection of meats, pastas, seasonings, etc. specifically Sauers seasonings - which have probably been sold in markets along this strip for the past 100 years. It’s a huge blessing to have this convenient little market right in our neighborhood.
I was ecstatic to find wild pear kombucha from blue ridge Bucha. I used to buy cases of wild pear kombucha from Aldi’s, but they stopped carrying it! I hope that she’ll continue carrying it!

Lots of cool, local products to choose from; I bought a bottle of honey made right in downtown Richmond. Best picked produce daily. Help keep small business alive and come see these folks. Cannot be happier this business exists in my community.

River City Market is a great place for select groceries and gifts! You'll find lots of products from local makers and artists. It had a strong communal feel and much better ambiance than a generic grocery store. The owner was very friendly. Highly recommend!

I know where I'm getting my groceries from now on!! Ms Zatima brightened my day with her energy the moment I walked in and I can't wait to see the Market grow along with Brookland Park Blvd. I know when I shop here it's going back into community hands where it belongs. On top of that, she made sure to ask if there was anything I missed that she could stock! Such a solid local biz.

I love this place! A good variety of healthy food products, (that are locally sourced), knowledgable staff and overall good vibes and energy are felt when you walk through the door. And the pies are just amazing!
