Ever since they replaced my alternator my car has not been starting properly. At first I thought it was just my battery so I decided to give a new battery a shot, but now it’s just starting my electrical components and not actually starting the engine.

I recently brought my truck to Gayton Auto after my radiator blew and I looked up mechanics that were close to my location. They fixed my radiator and a couple of fittings, were transparent during the whole process, and had everything done in a timely manner with a fair price. After my first time at this location I would absolutely recommend them to anyone looking for a trustworthy mechanic that does great work!

I brought my car here for a state inspection as well as to have them look at my breaks. This is the most honest car shop I have ever been to. Amazing staff. Amazing service. I will ONLY go here for any all all car needs.

Love this shop I cannot afford another vehicle at this time so I keep my car running safety with Gayton Auto. They also let me know of issues that need to be checked on often. Prices are reasonable and expediency is a plus. They aim to please and lady at front is awesome!!!

As long as I live in the Richmond area, I will never go to another shop but here! Scheduling an appointment is so easy and pricing is fair for the services needed. I used to hate dropping my car off at a shop as a young woman and getting talking into certain services that needed to be done “urgently.” I’ve never had that problem here. Highly recommend this shop!

My daughter was stranded with a flat tire 30 minutes from home the day before Thanksgiving. I traveled over to check things out and ended up taking the wheel off and searching for the closest auto shop in the area. It was Gayton Automotive. Realizing it was the last day before a major US holiday, I knew my i odds were slim to get this tire fixed that day. Needless to say, it was was repaired and i was able to get my daughter back on the road that same day. The staff was very friendly and approachable. So much so that I may go 30 minutes out of my way just to get my own car serviced here. This experience got my Thanksgiving holiday off to a great start. Many thanks to the staff here for the excellent service! ?

Great place! Very trustworthy and reliable. I never feel like they are adding "extras" onto the work that is needed for my vehicles. I would definitely recommend Gayton Automotive to anyone that feels overwhelmed at a mechanic.
