Great little spot and all profits go to support the SPCA! Small gist shop but has some cool toys, treats, leashes etc got cats and dogs.

Love the SPCA shop and stop by it regularly. They have lots of really cool toys, leashes, treats etc. They’re mission is the best and supporting that makes going there even more worthwhile.

I recently adopted a dog, and this was a great place to get her a collar, harness, and an enzyme based cleaner for if she has accidents. It's a nice sized store- definitely much smaller than a place like pet smart, but the people working there seem to have a lot of knowledge about their products. They also adjusted the fit of the harness and collar to my dog, which was great. The prices seemed on par or lower than you would get at other pet stores. I also appreciate that although the store is located inside the spca, it's at the very front, so if you're just there to shop it's easy to access. I'm sure I'll be back when we need more pet products!

I love shopping in this store. The products are always right on target - exactly what I need without having to dig through giant aisles in a big corporate store. The inventory is always updated and fresh, but you can also trust that you'll find your favs and staples , too. The prices are good and, best of all, the proceeds to back to the animals in the care of the organization. Buying toys, treats, leashes, you name it, while giving back to homeless pets? Yes, please! I think this shop is a bit of a hidden gem because it's physically small and placed within the SPCA itself, but do not let that fool you! They have more than you'll ever need. I've gotten everything from an adorable kids' book to doggie life jackets to cat litter there and been pleased with the products, service and overall experience every time. And, even if you have a special request, they can still order it for you, just ask. The staff is very knowledgeable and can tell you about the use of each project (like gentle leaders and special harnesses and such) and really help you help your pets, not just sell you stuff. If you live in the Richmond area and have pets or friends and family members who love animals, this is the place to go for gifts and supplies.
