Terrible tech support people. Took my laptop on a couple weeks ago cause it wasn't workin. Said my logic board was water damaged and my files weren't savable. Sent it out to a different place and they say it was all good and nothing was lost. They were also gonna charge $1200 to replace the logic board when the other place would do it for $400. Don't get your stuff repair at VCU scam tech. Save your money people - Recently graduated student :)

if you need your macbook fixed, go to apple. it will NOT be cheaper here, i was told it would cost 1,500 dollars to fix my laptop here when in reality it would only be 250 at apple. they said the insides of my laptop were damaged due to a liquid i spilled this past week, but that’s literally not true. the internals of my laptop are completely perfect, the only issue is the keyboard which can be replaced for 200 dollars. i can’t tell if they were trying to scam me or if they just didn’t know what they were doing. it’s like i told them the issue and instead of actually checking it out they just made the assumption that my laptop had been destroyed despite it working perfectly fine.

Ordered a MacBook bundle, it’s been over a week still isn’t here, called them they were really unhelpful told me to call back in a couple days so I did and once again told me to call back tomorrow and that it would probably get here in the next few weeks. Literally so many students are having this issue and no one can get what they need done, because a student service that we rely isn’t doing anything. Just go to bestbuy or apple.

FixIT Service team is awesome. Quick turn around time during a busy week of the semester -- they were also extremely transparent with me about what was wrong with my machine/how the parts work together, which was helpful! I will return to them for any of my device service needs.

Don't get your computers fixed here. They don't do repairs in house and it took a week for them to charge me 600 dollars for a new battery. Luckily they let me cancel the repair invoice but i still had to pay them 60 bucks to hold my computer hostage

I had a MacBook pro with screen damage that I brought in for a repair. I needed the repair to be done within a timely manner since it was work critical. They accepted it, stating that it will take 1 week to repair. 2 weeks later, I got my laptop back without any fix with the screen still damaged. The worker acted surprised as if it just broke in front of him. They took it in again for a repair on the spot but it has been far over a week and I have no hope for a timely fix. Nothing good to say about this place. Over priced, under qualified. Buy anything they sell on Amazon and you will almost certainly save few bucks. Never trust their insurance since they aren't equipped to repair the computers anyways.
