It's fun but very short. Only worth the money if you really want to try it out as something new. Really my biggest complaint is about the staff. No one ever answers the phones, if you have questions about anything that is not on the website it's impossible to get them answered. I took a friend of mine for a 10 minutes session, another pair went into the room next to us also for 10 minute session. After the 10 minutes was up we could hear them walking out the people in the room next to us and assumed they were going to come back for us, we waited about 15 minutes until we heard them sweeping the other room to come out on our own, we went to leave no one said anything to us and the guy at the desk was playing Fortnite. They had clearly forgotten that we were even there. The staff is nice but not particularly friendly they were just wrapped up in their own conversation about gaming and didn't say a word to us other than going over the rules.

Interesting experience but It probably would have been a lot more fun had it not been the Rumpus which included the car that was already destroyed. The bats (which is the only tool you get *false advertisement*)hurt your hand when hitting parts of the vehicle. If you have more than three people you tend to get in each other's way and risk accidentally bashing someone with your bat. They upcharge for full windows on the car to break which I guess makes sense. I suggest going with the other options outside of getting a car. Wasn't worth it imo.Customer service isn't the best, at least the guy who was working the desk during our session wasn't the best at it.

By far the most fun I've had in years! Came as a group, connected our playlist via Bluetooth, SMASHED. We had plenty of items and a good amount of time also did a paint room session after to wind down. Hands down will be back

The car is already smashed to bits. Don't bother. You'll be crammed in a tiny room with it, with barely enough room to swing a bat at your couple of beer bottles. Also I think the owner needs to spend some time venting their own frustration. Very unprofessional.

We had a great time! They were organized and efficient which my OCD heart really enjoyed. :) We followed the rules and had no issues!

$75 to break some beer bottles for 5 minutes. I really want to give this more stars but the cost is just not justifiable. I thought we would have a variety of things to break and throw and smash, but they just give you a basket of bottles, some torn up bats and a big empty room. They say not to toss the bottles into the air so I’m not even sure what the bats are for. It was fun for about a minute and then you’re done. It also felt extremely wasteful to destroy new, perfectly good bottles and not have a recycling component of using old bottles that were going to a landfill. You get to play your own music, but the room next to you also does so it’s just competing music. The sound of the car being smashed apart right next to you was also very loud/intense when you’re not the one taking part in it. I’m glad I paid for the cheapest possible option to try it out. Reduce the cost and have a recycling component with a variety of used objects and I’d be back. It’s also time to update a lot of your equipment. I’m also stunned at the rude replies to some of your reviews.Update: Review stands. At the end of the day, the cost is just exorbitant. Your website says "breakables" -- it says nothing about those solely being bottles. Perhaps the website needs some updating. I also disagree that it's impossible to source recyclables. If that isn't your business model, that's fine. Do you. But there are people like me who would feel better about breaking items that are already going to a landfill and are repurposed one last time, not brand new. Our world is wasteful enough.

It was NOT what my husband and I expected. We paid $55 a person ($110) for “The Rumpus” package that included 1 car and a few breakables. SAVE YOUR MONEY. The car was already broken to pieces, the windows and mirrors were already broken so it was nothing for us to break on the car. The only breakable objects they provided for my husband and I were 10 beer bottles. Our session was supposed to be 10 min but we were done within 3 min. We couldn’t even stay the full 10min because after we broke 10 beer bottles (since it was 2 of us it was 5 bottles a person) it was nothing left for us to break since the car was already broken smh. A huge waste of time and money. NEVER AGAIN. I could’ve paid for a 12 pack of beer and broken the beer bottles afterwards and gotten more enjoyment out of it

I understand the negative reviews; I read thembefore booking but still decided to give it a try for my sons birthday. The idea is cool but the customer service was very lacking and underwhelming which ultimately tainted the overall experience. I wouldn't recommend for a birthday until the overall customer service improves, but a chill day when your expectations aren't too high then this would be fine.

Yep......... what everyone says is true. Don't waste your money here. Very dissatisfied. $65/per person, for 25 minutes with a car, no group discount. We went with a group of 10 people so it was $650. They said the max was 12 people but we were packed in like sardines in there & it felt incredibly unsafe. Most disappointing... the car was beyond smashed when we got in there, the picture I've included was BEFORE we even touched it. So it was more like hitting the car than smashing it since there was nothing left to smash of it. You'll be done within 10 minutes tops, it's unbearably loud & hot.

If you choose the package to smash glass bottles, you have to do it around a smashed car in the room. And you are more golfing with a baseball bat then hitting the bottles with a bat. You can throw the bottles too. I was hoping for more.

Can't afford therapy so went here as a date with my partner and we felt amazing after. It's a great way to get rid of pent up anger and fun. Staff is also super pleasant

Didn't know what to expect for my first time, but absolutely loved it. Staff couldn't have been more helpful and courteous. I plan on making this remarkable place in the RVA a stop whenever I'm up that way. Much love from the 757/252.

Good set-up, a lot of fun...only thing was we weren't allowed to hit the car that was in the room with us, because we were told that was for another session, but it was already decimated pretty sure it wouldn't have made a big difference.

This was a very disappointing experience. I read about the various packages they offered and picked the second most expensive in order to get the most items and time since this was for my daughter's birthday. In the description it said you got your pick of weapon, 30 breakable per person and one large item. When I booked I put in the notes that it was my daughter's 16th birthday. We arrived, got the gear on and then we're told to choose a bat. There was no variety of tools to choose from just a bat. Disappointment #1.They took us to a small room with a car in it which I got excited about because I thought maybe they had upgraded the package for my daughter's bday. I ask about this and was immediately told the car wasn't included (even though it took up almost the entire room) and we weren't permitted to touch it...Disappointment #2. I saw two small crates of brown glass bottles and three small computer monitors. That was it. Nothing more...Disappointment #3. I paid almost $200 for us to smash a few bottles and a computer monitor while making sure we didn't touch that very invasive car. There was hardly any room to do anything and we were done in 10 minutes max. Disappointment #4. My kids kept beating on remnants of the monitor to have something to do. When they came to let us out of the room I asked if they do anything for birthdays and was told no, nothing at all. They didn't even say Happy Birthday to my daughter. It was such a bad experience. I could have taken her out in our back yard and let her hit some glass bottles for much less money than what I paid for this. We drove over an hour to experience a very big disappointment. I highly do NOT recommend this place.
