Cheryl is an absolute joy to work with and has such empathy and understanding of those who want or need to wear wigs. The wigs are of the finest quality and she will even cut them to fit your style. Just love these wigs!!! I purchased my first human hair wig from Planet Hair 2.5 years ago and while it’s still good, I decided to get another. They are still Exceptional quality wigs at an affordable price compared to competitors. Not only are the wigs fabulous, the customer service provided by Cheryl and Mike is first class! Of particular note, the compassion and empathy they show to those with hair loss far exceeds the norm which further displays their sincere dedication. Thank you so much for all that you do to support the community!

HORRIBLE SERVICE: So DISSAPOINTED
I utilized Becca - The Hair Bish - (which I am told rents a booth) at the Planet Hair salon March 2023.
$270.00 worth of color, trim and tip. Told her that day was disappointed in her service, hair was not even close to what asked for and had shown her pics of. She said could not correct for 3-4 weeks, since just put color on.
I reluctantly reset another appointment and tipped (hindsight should not had).
That evening after seeing how bad it was, sent a message and photos to her.
Did not hear from Becca. Over the next weeks sent her messages, texts with pics, called and never heard from her at all. Had questions.
Finally asked for a refund-NOTHING FROM HER!
"THIS WAS THE FIRST & ONLY APPOINTMENT I EVER HAD WITH BECCA". and THE LAST
I finally called and went to another stylist (personal referral) who told me, my hair became damaged.
As Becca was on the phone (personal issues) during the process faze, left it on too long and it over processed the color making it darker and the hair around the temple was broken.
I then cancelled that follow up appointment with Becca. If a business salon hair stylist will not take the time to follow up with their client and concerns and you find out they damaged your hair... Why go back-
OH, and she wanted to charge me an additional $115 for the re-do!
Becca The Hair Bish is on Instagram, Facebook. No Google set up or Yelp. You are unable to leave a review on her sites. She copies and pastes what she wants. I am now wondering if the pics she has posted, perhaps copied from other places, as her work certainly does reflect any of those.
If someone is not allowing you to review them there must be issues.
I also had contacted my credit card company and after review they stated "Her Guarantee, NO refunds as she guarantees her work? Credit Card company unable to refund. I would have to deal with Becca, since it is a service.
When a biz owner doesn't return your emails, texts or call,
this is what you get from the unprofessional.
I DO NOT RECOMMEND this HAIR STYLIST
Owner of this salon should take note.
Yes, I contacted the owner of Planet Hair to let her know what type of business practices she has representing them under their "ownership umbrella". Perhaps more scrutiny/background in who you select as an "Independent Stylist Renting".

I am so excited after visiting Mike and Cheryl At Planet Hair VA today! But first let me say something. Yelp has an incorrect address for them. The correct address is 2208 John Rolfe Parkway, Richmond, VA 23233. First of all, you are warmly greeted as soon as you walk in. You will have to see their website. They are just amazing people! I have thinning hair due to a scalp condition, and due to two bouts of COVID. I had read a lot about them and booked an appointment. Mike called me the next day to set up a time that was good for me, and today they explained everything I needed to know and I walked out with two beautiful new wigs that have been highlighted and that Cheryl personally cut for me. I am elated! To look in the mirror and see a totally different look was so exciting! My partner told me I look so much younger. I definitely have a lot more confidence. I would advise anyone whose hair is thinning for medical reasons or just thinning to go see Cheryl and Mike. They are wonderful people and it was an amazing experience.

First Class Outfit-- great stock plus knowledgably caring customer service. We found exactly what we needed, and Cheryl held on to it for us until we could make the long drive down from the Capitol region. She also provided great tips while we were there. Mike also took great care of us and provided some good advice regarding insurance and claim submission. (Approved by Tricare, but out of network so customer submits claim).

My family member had the absolute best possible experience- we have been calling cheryl our "wig angel." mike is wonderful as well. Could not be happier with their customer service & attention to detail, but their kind hearts and gentle approach is what sets them apart. 10/10

walked into planet hair wigs and accessories with very little self esteem due to my loss of hair and was crushed by the amount of money it costs in order to get one of the beautiful wigs they had on shelves. Cheryl just so happened to be there and was so gracious enough to bless me with a wig that was donated to her shop she could have sold. her company takes the time to find the right fit for you and what makes you feel most beautiful. the medical lace has been my biggest blessing because every wig I've tried has been very itchy and lasted maybe a week each time. thank you planet hair wigs, you are a true blessing to those just like me.
