Petco Staples Mill Road (this particular location in Henrico county— I am only referring to this location as my experience was not the same at another location ) was so loving to my sweet Cinnamon and took
great care of her! They groomed her and took their time and she looked wonderful. I lost my sweet Cinnamon, but the way they loved her will never be forgotten.

I’m not sure if the store is not pushing reviews in relations to grooming, but I know before I book I typically like to read the reviews on who to book! I’m looking to rebook at this location, unfortunately for me it’s filled until Friday. Since, I see so many negative reviews… I’m going to take the time to shout out Natalie for her work in March.
This was a last-minute booking and I just needed Sosa to have a haircut for the summer so he wouldn’t get too hot and I was lucky enough to have Natalie as my groomer/ stylist. She did an amazing job I showed her a picture of how I wanted him to look, I explained that he has anxiety, I explained that he really does not like the blow dryer and he came out looking perfect! It was a new look for him, new people, new location and when he came out he was high spirited. So thankful for Natalie !

It's hard to get help when purchasing pet fish. Even going to the register there is a long wait. I get my dogs groomed and that part seems fine.

Petco had what I needed for my poodles. Customer service was great, and the store was clean and presentable somewhere I would visit again.

I have had a wonderful experience with Jessi as my dog’s trainer. She is extremely knowledgeable and truly cares!!! Would 100% definitely recommend!!

Brought my dog for his grooming appointment. Was very unimpressed with the greeting I received at the grooming desk. After completing the pre check in on line and answering all questions related to my dog, the LAST question was asked at the store was about medication. My dog is on Lexapro for separation anxiety. My appointment was cancelled due to his medication. Nowhere in the pre check in did it say that. There is a question about sedation, not anxiety medication. Very disappointed in the 2 groomers I spoke with. If I could give 0 stars I would.

I wanted to give a huge shout out for excellent customer service from the store manager, Ken, at my local Petco store (Staples Mill Rd/Richmond VA). While I was shopping today, he was extremely helpful with showing me how to more easily utilize the app for the price matching I was doing as well as give awesome detailed information about the particular dog food brands I was comparing. I haven't experienced such excellent service like that in a very long time!

I saw the cashier add a $2 donation on her screen without asking me. When I said the total was too high she said the items were more expensive than they were listed. Then I saw her cancel it and then the total went down ?

I walked in not knowing how to do what I needed to do. The guy at the register stopped what he was doing and worked with me for roughly 30 min and gave me more than what I expected to get. Dude set me up appointments and everything. I’ll update my review once I remember the guys name because I hope whoever in corporate reads this knows who he is and realizes how many other people this one guy has most likely helped in the same way and turned them into customers for as long as this dude is there..so give him whatever pay raise he wants. Seriously, he’s worth it.
