Or feast your eyes on a variety of mini to large orchids. There were some mini orchid colors I hadn't seen at other local stores, such as pale creamy yellow, chocolate, etc. 4 pack of annuals is around $3.99 (as of 6-8-24) great variety!
Many vines as well such as moonflower, rudbeckia (black eyed Susan vine), and clematis.
A few natives plants such as Mountain mint but majority of outdoor plants are non-native annuals. All their plants look super healthy too which is very impressive considering the volume of plants offered, everything looks extremely well cared for. To me, this is a Hallmark if a business that is invest in offering healthy plants to the public and tending to it's inventory. Also extremely supportive in yes. Of offering care advise and friendly. I am adding this local beauty to my saved favorites to visit in RVA when I get another itch to purchase more house plants. Many are outside so I'm curious to see how it transforms over the seasons. This would be a beautiful place to meet for a plant club or series of classes that provide the public with a resource to learn more about caring for tropicals and exotics (even orchids). A new gem, to find for me in the RVA area.”

“We ordered flowers for a friend of ours who lives about 5 minutes from Strange's Florist in Mechanicsville. It was a new apartment complex that was not clearly marked on Google Maps yet. They called me and left a voicemail message which I did not pick up until late in the day. Alex went above an beyond to deliver the flowers on her way home after work so that our friend would have them on her birthday. Unfortunately she did not receive them. We are not sure what happened. I sent Strange's a message through their online site and they delivered them first thing the next business day. Are friend was thrilled, they even included a balloon, which we did not order. That is world class service. Thank you Strange's Team!

“This is probably the best garden center in the Henrico area. Lots of plants, decorations for the garden, soil and soil amendments as well as beautiful flags. They also do fresh flower arranging. They have experts on site to answer your questions. However all this beauty and knowledge comes at a price.”

“We were looking for an obscure light bulb. Dan The Man went out of his way to help us. He looked at other HD stock. We called Short Pump but although they indicated 12 in stock, none could be found. He then found stock across the river. We went there and purchased 3 packages! He went above and beyond.”
