We went to Nine Roses not really having a clue as to what I wanted for an engagement ring except a specific shape (that isn't super easy to come by). Nick spent so much time listening to us, giving us advice, and finding multiple diamonds in the shape I wanted for me to choose from. Him and his team came up with a design, I got my ring on NYE and it's more beautiful than anything I ever imagined. Don't sleep on this Richmond local jeweler; Nine Roses is top notch, and we will definitely be back for our wedding bands!

My husband and I had such a great experience working with Nick! He and his team made my custom engagement ring and my husband's custom wedding band. We are so blown away but how beautiful, detailed and unique our rings. We would highly recommend using Nine Rose for any of your jewelry needs. Had an amazing experience working with Nick from Nine Roses. He is competent, reliable, and easy to work with. Nick managed communication carefully - discussing likes, dislikes, specifications re: the engagement ring with my partner and I and carried a separate conversation with me specifically on budget. My partner and I both appreciated this. Nick worked through the design carefully with my partner and we are both stunned by what Nick created, no exaggeration. The ring is beautiful. Highly recommended.

I brought in a diamond that my grandmother gave me but was in a dated setting and Nick did such a wonderful job resetting the stone! He also went above and beyond so I could have it in time for my wedding. I am so glad I found nine roses!

My wife found a gem in the parking lot so we took it into nine roses to see if it was a diamond or not. I believe the owner was extremely helpful in identifying the gem and was even a part of the excitement with us. He even gave us an idea on how to sell it etc. Unfortunately after assessing it we found it was just cubic zirconia but it was still a lot of fun and he was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable. The jewelry for sale was also beautiful. Great place to shop with such helpful down to earth people!

Nine Roses is so wonderful! They worked with us for our engagement and wedding rings. They walked us carefully through the ring making process, and explained everything thoroughly. They were very responsive through e-mail, and were always welcoming when we would drop into the shop with a question. They also helped us resize each of the rings several times until they were perfect, and were very accommodating when we needed to store the rings for a few months. Great people who do great work!

I've been visiting Nine Roses since they opened in 2015. These guys know their stuff and are super knowledgeable about jewelry without being snobby. I've purchased both new and custom pieces here and had my rings cleaned (not purchased at Nine Roses, only because they weren't in business at the time). The necklace I bought is one of the pieces I get the most compliments on. They are constantly adding new designers and more of their in house line so it's exciting to see what they have every time I go in. Also, you get what you pay for, and while Richmond has a lot of awesome jewelry makers, no one is making fine jewelry this cool and contemporary with the level of skill and craft as Eliza and Nick are. This store is exactly what Richmond needs, def not your typical jewelry buying experience.
