Horrible service trying to get help with a microwave I had purchased less than 2 years ago along with all my other appliances. I asked to speak with the manage for some help with either the price, perhaps assistance with service or even to locate a scratch and dent. He refused to come out of his office to speak to me. It's no wonder this store has such a poor reputation, it starts at the top

I went there this morning was there for over 10 minutes waiting for someone to come make a key. They’ve called them twice. They never came. The two young ladies upfront were so very rude wouldn’t speak wouldn’t acknowledge that I was there, nor answer a question for me very, very poor service, in the last few years, Lowes has definitely went downhill now I can see why Home Depot they had the top notch employees because it’s ridiculous. When you’re there in the morning this early there was nobody else there in front of me and that they couldn’t even help somebody.

Everything you expect from a Lowe's but also has a kind and patient staff. Was behind an unruly customer last week and the guy working near the lumber section handled it like a champ.

Downgrade in my review. This big box store is systemically broken and will probably go the way of Sears with the current customer service model, which is unreachable. Three delivery attempts, 2 weeks after the original as sold date and my fridge is eventually here, but in the garage, not installed. First two, a truck arrived in the rain and said they can't offload, didn't have insurance in case they slipped. Why even come then? 10 calls, 6 hours of sitting on hold and then eventually appliances said they would send someone to install, although they didn't know if the guys could take the door off the fridge. (Note - Lowes website specifically says they do, and I confirmed the fridge is the right size. I measured it exactly.) Today the driver says he'll be here in 25 minutes, I call to ask where he is after an hour, and he says I went to the wrong house - but now I have to follow rules and my route is different, I'll see if I can get to you later. How about letting me know so I don't sit here all day? I call Lowes - long wait, eventually an answer, not "Good morning, Lowes how can I help?" just "Ello" then "I'll transfer you" - 20 minutes and the line goes dead. Well that about sums it up, Lowes will see if they can get to an atrociously served customer later. This review is my last resort - I have called, I have spoke to a cheery AI a thousand times, and they have a great website, but that is all that is left. The irony is that I have faithfully supported Lowes, not the other guys, for over 10 years after Lowes took neutral, apolitical positions on matters. It's a different day today. If Lowes would like to hear about all the parts of their system that are broken, I'll provide constructive feedback - it's a gift remember? There is just no way to deliver it.

I ordered some merchandise to pickup from this store. The online system said that they had 2 available. Lowe's cancelled the order, indicating that they had no stock available. So I went inside. I'm guessing that they had the stock available, as you know, they'd be in rough shape if $800 of merchandize just up and disappeared. However, the stock was probably on one of the high shelves above the tool department, and the associates probably couldn't be asked to well, actually get the merchandise I ordered. BTW, Lowe's still lists them having 2 in stock - 2 days later.

Since leaving one bad review clearly isn’t enough, I’m going to add another one in addition to the one my wife left earlier today. Here’s the jest of it:We spent close to $1,000 on a storm door that was meant to be ready for in store pickup at the end of November. We never received a notice for my order, so we’ve attempted to call the store approximately 10 times. Only twice have we gotten through to speak to someone. We spoke with a manager on 12/7, who said the order might not be ready until 12/25 and said he would look into it and call me back. We never received a call back, so I called again on 12/8 and was told a there was no manager available, so they took my number to call me back. We again never received a call back. We attempted to call again today on 12/9 and wasn’t even able to get through to speak to someone. We understand that orders can be delayed, but the lack of communication regarding an expensive and necessary order is frustrating and annoying.

Worst Lowes store in Richmond metro area. Took 12 hours for them to pick 1 item for a store pick up - other stores take 15-60 minutes.Then arrived for curbside pickup and after 40 minutes wait, still no sign of anyone. I even checked in on the app before I left my house 20 minutes prior. So walked into the store and another 20 minutes of fooling around. I asked to speak to the store manager, some dude claiming to be an assistant to the manager came out to talk to me. He had a smirk on his face and didn't give a f when I told him I was going to file a complaint with corporate.I won't be back to this store again. I only came here as the other stores were out of stock of the item I wanted.

it has been almost a month now of trying to buy a dryer, the first one the delivered faulty and i had wait a week to have them come pick it up, then wait another week to get a new one delivered and i just got the call an hour after it was supposed to be here that they cannot deliver it, i wasn’t even offered a new date/time or anything, and i still haven’t been refunded for the first dryer that came damaged. unless they drastically change their customer service i will not be buying any appliances from them in the future, from day one of trying to buy a dryer it was been a mix of waiting in stores for hours being told they couldn’t help and now this. incredibly disappointing. they called me to tell me they couldn’t deliver after hours as well so i can’t even get ahold of anyone to talk to.

Ordered a new stove, fridge, dishwasher, and oven thru Lowes. The appliances were delivered ahead of schedule. The only negative is that there was only one employee working in the appliance department, so there was a line of us waiting to order but, he took his time with each one of us. He even researched each item I wanted to make sure there would be no issues with getting it in stock. The microwave was the only thing backordered but it came exactly when he said it would with no issues!

I wanted deck stain went and took my 4 cans and the person behind the desk was doing nothing at the time no customers and asked if he would mix my color. Good Lord he huff and made a face cause he was going to have to do something for his pay. Told my husband I was going to go look at the flowers and the guy copped an attitude. Slammed my stain on the counter and said come back when I was done. So my husband couldn’t be the one there. 30 minutes to speak to a manager and well he didn’t apologize for the person just said he would go see what the problem was. I will not be back at this Lowes.

I've never had a reason to review a Lowes, but I do now. If you want custom blinds/shades DO NOT GO HERE. 1st, the measure appt was scheduled for 3-5pm on a Friday, and a call 30 mins before. Hadn't heard anything at 5:15pm. Guy calls to tell me how Lowes scheduled him so much work he was behind but he could still come. I agreed but was annoyed that he couldn't have told me earlier and not wasted my time. Got measured. Got an email from Lowes said it was complete. Went to the store to pick stuff out. The lady at the Blinds dept couldn't find anything in the system for me. Acted very frazzled and confused. I picked out the product I wanted and left. Didn't hear anything for a week. Blinds lady calls me after 2 weeks, says how she's been going thru alot, they are understaffed, etc, and she still can't find my measurements but she will absolutely call me back TODAY by the end of the day if not WITHIN THE HOUR. Needless to say I never heard back from her so I gave up. Contacted the website today for a refund. Store manager calls me and says he pulled my info right up on the computer, but if I wanted a refund still, no prob. I said refund please. Then he calls back to say can't give me one since the labor was already done unless he gives me cash at the store. I said forget it. It's not the $35, it's the principal. All consumers want is information. If you're going to be late, say so. If it's going to take an extra week, say so. If you @#&*() up and lost my stuff say so and send the guy back out. Find some people who know how to do their jobs. Excuses for everything. So Lowes doesn't want my $1000 for blinds - I'm sure Home Depot will take it.

This lowes is garbage. Used to be ok about ten years ago. Hire some competent employees or just give up. Just close. Hang it up. Don't waste your time going here. I just stood in line for thirty minutes wait on someone to tell my cashier what I already told them.UPDATE: Upon getting home, I realized the wood that took me another 20 minutes for someone to cut for me was cut 2 1/2 inches SHORTER than I asked the guy for TWO TIMES! So rendering the material USELESS, just like this store. I should have known better.UPDATE #2 : So being as though I would rather jump off a cliff than go back into this trash can of a store, my wife volunteered to return the wood that was cut too short. And she soon realized why I would not return here. During her visit to customer service, she explained to the girl at the counter what had happened which she understood but needed a manager to make the return for whatever reason. Manager walks over. My wife says all of "My husband..." then the, for lack of a better term, woman "manager", cuts my wife off after two words and says "Not to SHOOSH you, but I got this!" head bob and all. I told my wife what to do if anyone gave her any trouble or attitude up there, buy my wife is a much better human being than I am. I am sorry she had to deal with Lowes bottom feeder employees, but at least I'm not in jail. NONE of that was worth the $20 that we spent there. I wouldn't even go in this place again if it was raining acid rain and this was the only shelter.
