I visited this store yesterday with my two kids and found several items I intended to purchase until my 3-year-old urgently needed to go to the restroom.
I asked a nearby employee if they had a restroom he could use. He said, "Absolutely!" and led us toward the bathroom. As we passed through a curtain labeled "Employees Only," I realized there was no public restroom. Immediately, a woman sitting at a table, eating and watching TV, stopped the employee and scolded him, saying, "We don't have public restrooms!" While I understand this could have been frustrating for her, I hadn’t realized there were no public restrooms and appreciated the employee's kindness. Despite her scolding, he insisted we could still use the restroom. I then told her, "We will go." She stood up, ensuring we understood her annoyance, and pointed us to the restroom, saying, "It's over there. Hurry up!"
Once we finished, the male employee apologized for her behavior and returned our cart of items to us.
After that interaction, with what seemed to be a manager, we left our cart and chose to shop at the thrift store across the street instead.
It’s disappointing to have had such an experience over a simple need for a child, especially in a Christian-based establishment. Needless to say I will not be shopping here in the future.

What a garbage store. We left our cart full of items we intended to purchase and spent our money elsewhere.
Stop marketing yourself as a Christian-based store if your managers are willing to snap at younger employees just because said employee was allowing a 3-year-old boy to use the private restroom.
I can't speak for Jesus, but I know the Bible doesn't teach people to mistreat those below you, either in age or position.

Visited yesterday for the first time in a while and left sadly very disappointed. Prices are EXTREMELY overpriced ! $650+ for a damaged four post bed frame ? Or over $300 for a damaged small oak dinner table ?
The last time I visited this store was called "For the love of Jesus" and the pricing was fair and reasonable. Now evidently new owners have overpriced the items they get for free. We all understand wanting to help a good cause and/or church. But honestly, I'm not sure how in good conscious prices on items can be so expensive without feeling I would be taken advantage of if I was to purchase said items.
Used to love going to For the love of Jesus. The area the store is in isn't great and can feel unsafe. Just yesterday, there was an "employee" dressed as a doctor and another guy just lingering outside the store. So I understand why folks may not want to go shopping here. Atleast when it was For the love of Jesus, the very nice owners/employees and fair pricing sorta made up for the shady area. Not so much now.
Hopefully the new owners will see this post. Your store is a thrift store for a reason. Not trying to be mean or disrespectful at all. But try leaning into it being a thrift store with actual thrift store pricing. Your store is not an antique store or in an expensive area where maybe you could get by overcharging folks.
Will definitely not be going back to Liberation Thrift !

I love thrift stores and this place is huge. It's also filled with some of the worst junk. Many broken items, chipped dishes, and all sorts of garbage. Some of the prices didn't seem so bad, but who buys chipped and cracked dishes ? I went with a friend, we browsed and left, buying nothing. Kind of a depressing experience.

I just left with 2 designer men's blazers for $12.00. The sweet lady behind the counter helped me to choose the correct size and was so cheerful and pleasant. Thank you, Miss Carolyn. You're awesome.

I stopped by this thrift store this morning and unfortunately, I did not enjoy the experience as much as I used to. They have definitely raised their prices in the past year. Clothes seemed to be priced high - but they had SO many clothes. It just seemed wasteful. $8 for women's dresses. They had pallets and pallets of clothes waiting to go out on the racks; seems to me that they should price their clothing lower if they actually want to move it quickly. I would have bought clothes here if the prices were right. However, the store is huge and well-organized; there is definitely a lot to look at and many options to choose from. If you're looking for clear glassware, wall art or furniture in particular, I'd recommend checking out this thrift store. Not worth it for the clothes though.

I’ll just make another page. Y’all are snakes. “Doing gods work” but y’all get FREE stuff from people and you priced it for hundreds some times thousands of dollars. Isn’t greed one of the deadly sins. Y’all should be 100% ashamed of y’all’s selves for hiking prices on FREE stuff so the people that actually need stuff have to skip a mortgage payment just to buy one dresser.Y’all deleting my comment and banning my other account say a lot about y’all.I was a true loyal customer of y’all’s and came almost daily and spent lots of money there every single week until y’all fired Steve the manager. Ever since then prices have gone through the roof, the customer service is TERRIBLE, and it seems to me the foxes are running the hen house.God is watching y’all.

Huge thrift store, but everything is twice or 4 times more expensive than you expect. To the point that for almost every single thing I looked at I am positive I could buy the same thing new at that price or less.I understand they are trying to raise money for whatever services their church provides. But one of those services should be affordable furniture and housewares for lower income people in the area.

I’ve only been here once, but it was the most expensive thrift store I’ve ever been in. Just needed a simple bookshelf with 2 or 3 shelves. They had one, but it was FIFTY DOLLARS.
