Do not go to the location if you have any issues with IVs!!!! I recommend choosing one of the other Labcorp locations in the area if you need bloodwork. I have various complex medical conditions and a history of difficult sticks, if I had known how this would've been handled I would've chose a different location entirely. The wait was long and there weren't enough chairs for everyone in the waiting room, but I looked past this as it was the afternoon and I had no appointment. The student who was working that day was great and polite, I explained to him that I was a hard stick, but he was welcome to try. I thought having experience doing an IV on someone with a connective tissue disorder might be valuable for a student and I wasn't too symptomatic that day. He was being careful and taking precautions, which I greatly appreciated. When the phlebotomist came in he asked to use the butterfly needle and had her check the vein (also it's worth noting she tried to bring another patient into the room acting as if it was empty initially with no apology or recognition of her mistake). She was clearly not pleased when he explained that he wanted to use a butterfly needle because I mentioned being a difficult stick. She asked why, and when I told her I had EDS she clearly seemed annoyed and asked what that even was, and didn't acknowledge my response. I even had my mediport accessed at the time for my at-home treatments and I explained it was placed due to the issues getting peripheral access due to frequent blowing and/or rolling of veins. She said the vein felt fine and instead immediately grabbed a standard needle (despite me mentioning that ERs have had to use ultrasounds and nearly all doctors opted to use a smaller needle). She did not stabilize or cover the site in any way, instead connecting the blood collection adapter directly to the needle and holding that, causing it to move as her hand was not steady the entire time. She did not seem to be paying full attention either, even missing the holder for the samples at one point and dropping the vial on the table. The IV she used either didn't have a cannula or she just chose not to remove the needle. As a result I had to shift when she moved her hand and the needle accidentally (which happened multiple times) to ensure the needle didn't perforate my vein. She asked if it hurt but when I said it did she had nothing to say and didn't become any more cautious. This is not an appropriate way to treat patients in general, but it especially is not appropriate when someone expresses having complex medical history and difficulty with IVs. If an IV is placed correctly and carefully I typically don't have any prolonged discomfort but over 24 hours later I feel as if the inside of my elbow is completely bruised. I am especially disappointed in the actions of this phlebotomist as it is behavior like hers that breeds medical trauma and a distrust of medical professionals.

Mostly fast in and out. Nice people working hard. The lobby could use a tv or something to break the silence.

30+ minute wait for appointments. I’ve seen other labcorps get people in and out in less than ten minutes, yet every single person they bring back is there for 15-30. Crazy slow location. And the staff are rude when someone asks how much longer it’s going to be, even with an appointment.

I got there at 7:35 as a walk-in for blood work and a specimen drop-off and I was out by 7:55! Quick and efficient staff

I took my 2 years old son to draw blood, two an African - American, one of them had purple cloths and she was nice, the other one I think her name was Shelly or Chelly or Shanon was very rude ,she was seen upset like a hungry children and forcibly pulled my son hand like treating someone abusively, I was shocked such kind of people work in Lab Corp. I know this is how she grew up in a family and this kind of belief and behavior stem from the awful environment.

It was an easy , painless experience. I was very nervous. Rochelle put me at ease and drew the blood on the first attempt. She was very kind through the whole experience. I would highly recommend this branch of LabCorp.

Ran out of the tubes needed for my bloodwork. I made an appointment four days prior specifically at this location because they had the tubes, but they “used the last set yesterday” when I got there. I had to drive across town to another Lab Corp. Two stars instead of one because they gave me a highlighted map to the other Lab Corp. ?

I've had two stellar experiences at this location. Marcia is awesome! I don't think I had an appointment either time and didn't wait very long. Everyone has been nice.

Absolutely awful experience. The 2 black ladies are extremely rude and have an attitude, from the minute you walk in and say hello they look annoyed. One of them drew my 4 year old's blood and she was just terribly unpleasant and could not handle an upset and anxious little kid at all. Why do you work in health care as a phlebotomist technician working with people all day if you clearly hate it, is beyond my understanding. They most certainly should not be accepting pediatric extractions at all.

This place is dingy, which is not normally how you want a sterile lab environment to be described. There is a door covered in multiple DO NOT ENTER signs and it's barricaded by multiple benches. I could have excused all of this (which I shouldn't have to, I feel like cleanliness is expected of clinical settings) but they LOST MY BLOODWORK. They said it was due to power outages and wifi issues, which begs the question- why would I come back to a lab that's already lost my bloodwork once? So they can do it again? Dirty, disgusting, unprofessional.

I don’t do very well when it comes to drawing blood but the ladies here were so kind and helpful! Even though their waiting room was packed and they were understaffed, they still made sure that I was ok after the procedure to go home

No apt. walked in, checked in, a nice lady took my blood (no name but had pics of her grandkids and kids on the wall) and was out in 5 minutes total from check in. Excellent experience!
