Their $5 chicken legs are not seasoned. It is the worst grocery store and convince store fried chicken.

Can you PLEASE move the hand basket stack back to the exit side for the left/west/main entrance of the store? Or like, split the stack half and half?
If I go in after the main sliding doors close at 9pm, I have to walk across the cart return section to grab a hand basket and then walk back across to come into the store via the exit sliding doors. And when I'm done with shopping, I have to walk across the cart return section again to return my hand basket again before walking back across to exit the store. Why??
They're not even using the space where the hand baskets used to be by the exit sliding doors - what's the point? You already have a human security guard posted out in that area who could see if anyone was sneaking items out via the baskets (which I am assuming was happening?) as well as the electronic detector on either sides of the door. This is a frustrating change for a quick shopper's experience, day or night.
The new aisle sections also don't make sense. Why are pop tarts with coffee?

They have the doors set to lock the wheels on your cart upon leaving. If I plan to get enough groceries for a large cart, I will just go to Wegmans.

This Kroger is second only to the one on Hicks Road for the title of most underwhelming Kroger I have ever shopped at. There is never more than one register open (I've come to expect this at Walmart, but that's Walmart), and the one cashier at the register always has to walk halfway around the store to find someone to help when there is a problem. As I write this I have been standing at register 16 for 25 minutes. 10 minutes ago I called the store's phone number and spoke to a manager coincidentally also named David, who when I explained the problem to him and that I had just worked a 12-hour shift at VCU and would appreciate not having to stand here all night on my already sore feet, he said that I couldn't just demand he get people with register access to open up more registers. I suppose this means there wasn't anyone else in the store who could help, not even him. I hope the store and the company is proud of the review he earned. Save yourself a huge hassle and go to the Huguenot Road or Hull Street stores instead.

K is for Kroger, near Krispy Creme, to have fun taking a picture with Kelloggs cereal (because the box matches).? In all seriousness, this store is nicely organized and a good location for those traveling from Southside who like Kroger grocery stores....

Absolutely outstanding service! My experience at Kroger Pharmacy has consistently been exceptional. The staff is incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, and always willing to go the extra mile to ensure I have what I need. They handle prescriptions efficiently and offer helpful advice on medications and health concerns. The convenience of the location, combined with their professionalism and genuine care for customers, makes Kroger Pharmacy my go-to choice. Highly recommend!

Biggest in the area. Easy access off Chippenham or even Powhite. Great produce and meats...There is a gas station and tesla charging station next to it. If you leave and go west on 60, you and your family are safe and decent places to eat and shop. Go east and you can find the strip club and whatever drug the Dr didn't prescribe you and a date for the night. A little bit of everything in this area...Overall 4/5

This store is the reason i stopped going to kroger and started shopping at other grocery stores. They do not have cashiers most of the time, they put refridgerated items abandoned at the front of the store back into the fridges after sitting out for hours- not just a couple minutes, i mean ALL DAY. Ive seen them do it. This store legitimately should be investigated top to bottom cuz whoever runs it is a filthy, lazy person. The store is frequently dirty, none of the employees seem to care about anything. They are always out of stock on their own brand items, they treat people like criminals while forcing them to be their own cashiers. There is a camera in the self-checkout that freezes the station if it thibks youre stealing; like putting a canvas bag for groceries, or chopsticks with your sushi, or literaly just moving your hand over to the bag to adjust something. You might wait for 15 minutes for an employee to come sort it out. They have an ARMED GUARD at the end of the self checkout lane like some sort of intimidation measure. Its ridiculous. Kroger has gone insane.

I honestly hate going to this Kroger anymore. The store is not kept up with. Opened beverages are left in the coolers for weeks in the same spot. The employees are rude and give dirty looks or scowl and look away when asking questions. When discounts are posted and expired they do not honor them nor do they offer any apology. I'll just go back to shopping at Publix. Publix employees are always very kind and honor any expired price card.

Love going to Kroger Marketplace on Midlothian Tpke. I can find all the fresh fruits and vegetables I'm looking for and there are great meat prices, too! Everything is easy to locate, and the staff is friendly and helpful.
