Incompetent. AVOID. I was sick of poor service at Hyman Kia so after bringing my car to this dealership since I'd bought it new - I decided to get my next service at another mechanic. That mechanic brought to my attention I had an issue that might still be covered under warranty - surprised Hyman didn't catch it at my 60k appt, I brought the car back in to Hyman, sat for nearly two hours for the service manager to say in fact the issue WAS covered under warranty though I had gone over 60k by the time I brought it back to them. He said I was lucky as the service would have cost $1,145. After waiting all that time he said however they didn't have the parts so I made an appt to come back. A week later they called and had to push the appt a couple more weeks. I show up at the new appt, waited half an hour and the service rep came out to tell me they changed their mind and it was not covered. I said why did they tell me it was covered and made an appt to come back? I decided to stay only because I had already checked the price elsewhere who also had quoted me $1,100 and now Hyman was somehow only charging $445 - since it's under a one year warranty, even though I expect more Crappy service - I did it. Last time here for sure though. AVOID these CLOWNS at all costs. Allen Tire Garage is a mile away - go anywhere else but to Hyman Kia.

Ordered a part. Website states you will receive a confirmation email and a seperate email with tracking number once it ships. You will get neither. Hard to say if this place is a scam like other places, or they just absolutely suck at customer service. Recommend searching eBay for your parts first.

I ordered a hood shield for my 2023 Forte GT from their online parts store and the price was good and shipping was fast. Took like 3 days to get it shipped out. Trying to contact them via email seems like it's hit & miss with no replies back sometimes but they got me what I needed. Good experience for my transaction.

I purchased my car in February of 2023. The salesman was amazing. My experience since then has not been as good. I purchased a GAP & Service plan. I took my car to get its first oil changed at a Kia dealership in my new town & only after did I have this service performed was I told by the finance guy at Hyman Bro's that I would have to take my car to a Nissan Dealer. I since have been waiting for 2 months to get a refund on the cancellation of my $1200 GAP warranty and the $1000 Service plan I can't even use. I have tried and tried and tried again to get information on why my finance company still has not received the payment since the check was cut August 4th and my requests have gone unanswered. Very unprofessional. If I could give 0 stars I would.

I brought my Kia in for a scheduled service appointment yesterday. I bring my Kia to this dealership for every maintenance appointment. When I bought my Sorento (from a Kia dealership), I purchased an extended maintenance plan. I was told six months ago by a very nice service guy that he spoke to my insurance rep. and my brakes were covered because they were lookin' rough in the back. He said just bring the vehicle back in a couple months, by then the front brakes will have the same wear as the back. Cool. Insurance covered 90% of that visit we kept it moving. Imagine my surprise when Mr. Snippy (it's ok I don't like talking to ppl before 9am either) quoted a $2400 service fee (most of which I know is covered by the plan because I checked the day before) and refused to utilize my maintenance plan. He stated that the manager had made an executive decision not to use maintenance plans because they're too hard. Which is a contradiction to what he stated when I handed my keys over. I double checked with the plan company who again confirmed the dealership is paid within two hours of receiving an invoice.Added an extra star solely for the lovely woman at the check out desk with great communication skills and an even cuter dog.

JUST STAY AWAY! The Service department truly doesn't treat all customers equally, ESPECIALLY WOMEN!My daughters car was brought in for service. Upon going in Mike in the service department left her with the "women should not have a voice" feeling. Mike was dismissive and arrogant. After days of repeated lack of detailed information and communication, I finally stepped in. Mike was very dismissive to me as well giving me the "I'm am man hear me roar" feeling when I was trying to figure out why there was a delay. I'm not about to be talked down to, especially when a large sum of money was going to be paid for services rendered. WHY NOT SIMPLY TELL MY DAUIGHTER PARTS NEEDED TO BE SHIPPED IN FROM THE BEGINING AND AVOID BEING QUESTIONED ON THE DELAY! Mike then refused to research the delivery status. Mike also, made it a point to tell me that when the parts arrived he, himself, would call BEFORE any work commenced.Angel, another Kia dealership worker I spoke with 100% agreed with me that his demeanor and reactionary tones were un professional and unacceptable and then proceeded to tell me Mikes customer service needed to improve. ITS NOT MY JOB TO CORRECT OTHER BUSINESSES CUSTOMER SERVICE SKILLS!I called the day after the parts were scheduled to be delivered, and the Parts department person said they arrived and the car was currently being worked on. I never received a call, I spoke with Mike to find out what's up, told him I didn't appreciate being lied to when he specifically told me he would call PRIOR to work being started. Mike then came back with "Are you questioning my honor?" and then proceeded to tell me he was a cop for 15 years and wasn't going to have anyone "question his honor". Really? What your previous career was has absolutely no relevance to the matter at hand. My daughter approved 2 services (both that needed the parts) and there was 2 recommended services. New Tires and a New battery. The tires were approved. The battery was NOT approved and services DECLINED. This conversation was witnessed by my daughter's boyfriend. After 2 weeks without her car, she finally got it back, MORE FILTHY, then how she dropped it off and also realized there was an approximate $225 charge for installation of a new battery. I called back, and I was not happy, my daughter felt like she was taken advantage of because she was a young female based on her experience and interactions with Mike and I wasn't going to put up with that. I spoke with Gary which then clarified the entire operation and how its run. It's their way or the highway and Hyman Bros really doesn't know how to simply say "SORRY". Sorry for failed clarity of information. Sorry you feel that way. Sorry your experience wasn't the best . NOTHING. Gary even told me my daughter was lying to me and indeed approved the battery for replacement WHO BLATENTLY CALLS A CUSTOMER A LIAR? Can I be a demanding customer, 100%, absolutely, however, proper communication solves most all issues and Hyman Brothers is TERIIBLE! I spoke with Angel again looking for a sign of good faith, based on our subpar experience. Some sort of a discount of something to make us feel better. He said check out their service coupons online. THEY WERE ALL EXPIRED AS OF MARCH 31ST! ITS MAY!!!If any Kia person denies what I have said here, then they are the ones lying to themselves. I have a history of posting positive as well as critical reviews online as I pride myself on honesty.A simple sorry. Clear and concise details. Putting ALL customers feelings at the forefront. My interactions have been some of the worst customer service experience I have had in quite some time. Not only have I been in the customer service industry my entire career, I also have spent year training proper customer service and this is a text book situation as Mike & Gary especially, have no business dealing with anyone. FIND ANOTHER SERVICE LOCATION. THERE ARE PLENTY OUT THERE!

I wish I could say my experience was positive with Hyman Bro's Kia service, but unfortunately that is not the case. When I originally brought my car in I was looking to get TWO recommended services done. This was on 4/20/23. The service man I was with came off as dismissive, that is what I took from him as a customer. He then said he would give me a call that evening to let me know if the car wouldn't be ready and that it likely would not be. I never got a call that evening, thankfully I did the next morning where we went over which services would be done exactly. I approved of the original TWO, as well as new tires. After a week and a half of little to NO communication which included me having to call to receive updates on my vehicle. When I would call I felt a tone of annoyance for asking for an update on my vehicle. It truly felt like what people would say dealerships stereotypically treat female their customers like. Toward the end of my 2 week wait on the car I started receiving more communication. I got the car back on 5/4/23 and was charged for an additional service that I did NOT approve of, specifically denied. I was so upset and felt like they were so sneaky in doing that because they may have felt I wouldn't speak up. There was a huge lack of communication, customer service, and apologies. I will never return to this location and I would never suggest this location to anyone. I am so displeased and I feel completely taken advantage of.

Takes forever to fix engine. Had my car for 3 months and everytime I call, it's another reason as to why they can't fix it.. short staff shouldn't be an excuse as to cars aren't getting fixed. I get short staffing but I guess they just go to work and not do anything then use that excuse. Car has been next in line for a week and a half it's ridiculous. They literally have about 40 cars in the back that needs to be fixed. Any engine problems, GO TO CMA KIA !!!!!!!

Was glad to see their website claim that they had the old, out-of stock part I needed. So I ordered it and got an email saying it may take "up to 2 weeks"... then crickets. Two weeks passed, and eventually I emailed. No response. A few days later, I called and was told they don't have it so they'll have to try to "special order" it (what were they doing until then?) and they'll reply within a day. After a couple more days I asked them to cancel if they couldn't guarantee they would get it in the next week, and got an email saying they never had it and neither did the manufacturer.Given the number of other reviews with similar stories, I wonder if their shtick is to claim they have every part in existence and then from their point of view 1) some people will give up and they get to keep the money (at best), 2) persistent people will keep pestering them but they get to collect interest on it for a month or two (at worst).

My wife and I originally bought our Mercedes-Benz from Jerry Lee a few years ago. Unfortunately we lost it due to an accident. We had some credit issues so we thought we have to go to a Second chance dealership. So we went to VA cars which turned out to be a complete nightmare they were offering us cars with high mileage and late models and high payments. We walked out and said well let's call Jerry and see what he can do for us. So we spoke to Jerry our salesman and Kenny the sales manager and they went to work. They told us to go home and it will work the deal first in the morning with in hours we were approved for brand-new 2023 Kia! This place is incredible and they gave me a military discount! Not only did we get the car but the payments dropped down lower than what we expected!! Go to Hyman brothers and ask for Jerry Lee! SEMPER-FI SGT. Banks U.S.M.C

I didn't find the car I was looking for, but Sean Terry went above and beyond to help and make my shopping experience one of the best I've had with any car dealership! If they had the exact vehicle I wanted I wouldn't have questioned purchasing from them. Thanks Sean!
