Forget the rest; this is the best. Period. You know it’s the real deal when her students tell you they’ve been with her for 20+ years. This is true Yoga - not the “Don’t I look cute in my new $300 matching Lulumon yoga outfit?” kind of yoga. Do this for yourself. Do it for everyone you’ll encounter afterwards.

There is yoga to feel fit and then there is yoga that heals you from the inside out. Nora's place is the second kind of place. It's my favorite yoga studio and she is everything you want/need in a teacher. You know a place is good when the people around you in a class have been coming for 10-20 years! I mean enough said right there. A+

I started taking yoga classes with Nora over a decade ago, when I was just out of college. In a transitional time during my life, yoga provided me with a simple daily practice that helped with my physical stress. However, over the years it became much more of a life philosophy that has stayed with me through many years and many transitions. Integral Yoga and Nora have been a positive force in my life, even when I wasn’t living in Virginia. From Raja yoga and meditation classes, to a grief workshop at Yogaville after I lost my mother, these teachings and her compassionate nature have helped me greatly over the years.She has brought the teachings of Swami Satchidananda and Yogaville to Richmond in a way that is accessible to many people in many walks of life.I firmly believe that yoga is a life changing practice that can be applied to many aspects of one's daily life. If you are looking for an authentic yoga experience, and not just another big box yoga chain, Integral Yoga is the place.

There are many yoga studios in Richmond, VA but none conpare to Integral Yoga in holistic approach to leading a fulfilling life. Integral Yoga's roots in Eastern philosophy prove it to be more than just an exercise. Welcoming to newcomers and all level classes.

This place is a sacred gem nestled in a cozy neighborhood behind Carytown, not too far from Ellwood Thompson's. It is here that I have learned what Yoga is really about.. and how to find true peace and happiness... I've learned that Yoga is not only about the the body, but also about the mind and spirit as well. It is based upon the teachings of Sri Swami Satchidananda who founded Yogaville in Buckingham County.. and as he says "The purpose of Integral Yoga is to have an easeful body, a peaceful mind and a useful life." This place is for all those who seek these things.. and seek and ye shall find!! Right here in RVA. :)

This is one of my favorite places to practice Yoga in the city! The administration and staff are so very caring of all aspects of the operation. The classes are well rounded with not only a focus on the physical body but the entire person, inside and out. If you haven't been to a Friday night Satsang, do yourself a favor and go for the one of a kind experience. You'll love it here!

I have been involved with the Integral Yoga Center of Richmond (IYC) for many years. I have attended any number of yoga classes, workshops, kirtan and other fun events. The teachers are excellent and the atmosphere very welcoming. IYC has been serving our community under the direction of Vimala Nora Pozzi since the 1990s. I highly recommend taking a class or two and even attending Kirtan every 3rd Friday evening.
