I'm afraid they don't want to do tougher jobs mechanics are supposed to do, lately, they sent me on my way on two occasions with 5K estimates each time because they just didn't know what to do, or didn't want to do it. I've been going there for 10 years. Both times I got another mechanic to do the same work, I've saved 8k by NOT taking their estimates and taking to another mechanic. Lately they were unable to diagnose a master brake cylinder on a BMW X3, never checked the brake fluid or brake lines apparently, and couldn't give any readouts from the car when I asked what they actually did for a week, and then charged 100 for diagnostics that led me nowhere. If they asked or were interested, they would have found out the brake fluid was way overdue by 3 or 4 years and was in a state of corrosion. Simple test, put a measuring pen in the fluid bottle, anyone can do it. The brakes were very obviously sticking at red lights to a degree the car was glued in one spot. They couldn't give me details on what they did to diagnose or codes, or brake condition, I had to use my own code scanner, except they did say one of the vendors that suggested the ABS system replacement, but they had no idea.. Really? So, I got the car, still broken... I found an independent mechanic close by with his own shop, where he cleaned the ABS pump and replaced the master cylinder all for < 1K, where IA had no idea and just wanted to replace the OEM pump as a test for 5k and keep throwing parts at it. That would not have fixed it anyhow. I'm left with a confidence issue now that what was once an Indy shop, I guess, is just a shop to turnover computer codes, get expensive parts, and not really do any real mechanics' work in order to get to the next car in line. Maybe this is a success story in some people's eyes for the auto shop making a buck, and I get that, yes, but for me I like to have a mechanic I can talk to, makes sense, and trying to understand the issue, and not by just reading computer codes and ordering expensive parts when they can't understand the braking system which only has 4 major components in it? This seems ...basic or medium level difficulty? Which tells me they have become a computer code shop only, any work not captured by the onboard computer codes, and a clear bulletin, they want to punt (to high dollar guesstimates and you have to fund the guessing). This is not good mechanical work IMO, but closer to the dealership you try to avoid in the first place. 2015 Bmw X3 2.8

These guys do great work any an excellent job on my 2011 BMW X5 3.0. The price for the work was very reasonable and the best. I will be doing business with you guys again. I would definitely recommend them for your auto needs. (first time customer)

Be very very careful guys and think twice before taking your car to this mechanic, joe Bedner he is going to try to rip you off so bad , plus he is gonna disrespect you put words on your mouth twist every thing you say and at the end of the day the job is not done right and when you try to express your feelings because your mad after charging you 1480 $ he tells you that he is not going to service your car any more and go somewhere else , imagine guys , people like that still exist in life , next I m going to tell you all the details from the time I talked to him on the phone till the time I drove my car home , but my advise for now , if you don’t want to loose a lot of money don’t ever go there ,

I brought my Porsche Cayman there for an issue in the front end after being told it would be a month before any of the other Porsche repair spots could squeeze me in. They diagnosed the issue within 30 minutes and Joe worked closely with me to make sure I got the most bang for my buck in replacement coilovers. Brought the car to the shop last week. They run a diagnostic test call me and tell me what the problem was I told them to fix it. 3 days later the ABS light came on and I took it back to the shop. The mechanic called me and said he run a diagnostic test. And I asked him why did you run a diagnostic test again he replied oh no we didn't run a diagnostic test we took it for a test drive and then look underneath the car see what what's the problem and for that they charged me $145 and they said it would be pointless to fix this car. This is after I 1279$ to fix the frist problem.

My 2002 Volkswagen Jetta was delivered to Import Autohaus from my usual car repair shop (who was so honest in that they'd tried to find out what was wrong, but couldn't figure my old girl out ). Curtis, at Import Autohaus called right away to verify the problem and gave me an estimate for when they'd be able to investigate. Then politely and professionally informed me of the needed repairs, as well as explained to me what happened, along with a total price less than the estimate! I definitely recommend this business and will be back!!

Abysmal customer service. Called to get a quote on a few different jobs and was cut off and told they couldn’t help me after I mentioned the first job, which was already a shot in the dark with a shop like this. Not worth the time.

Would have given them 5 stars except I'm gonna need to replace belly pan on my 2015 bmw740Li x. Autohaus removed/ reinstalled belly pan to replace control arm and axle.50 miles later I'm driving on highway and belly pan rips apart. 50/50 chance they mised securely installing pan but i'm stuck with replacement after spending over $4k. Personally, I think they should have volunteered to replace it since it takes 5 minutes to install and cost ( retail) $156 a long with me just paying the $4k totalI'm still a customer ( long term) cause they do good work and price fairly ( not cheap but I don't really want cheap)

I've been taking my car and truck based on another mechanic that didn't have the necessary tools to repair my car. All I can say is, I'm grateful for my mechanics elsewhere that I could run the issues by to make sure pricing was fair and these guys knew what they were doing. I didn't get anything extraordinary they did the job keeping my vehicles longer than expected. The prices are not cheap and I feel like it's almost better to go to the dealership. At least I'm not going to have the back and forth, plus I'd be given a vehicle to drive. I also expect to get my vehicle back clean the way I left it. Customer service needs improvement, there is lots of room to grow. They tried to work with me but I'm not going back. I'll find service elsewhere. In other words for the amount of money your paying your not getting extraordinary service. I'm use to extraordinary service, above and beyond.
