First of all, this is my first time getting a rental vehicle through my insurance company. I had no idea how everything works. So I decided to go rental with hertz but wow wat a poor experience and how hard people can make it for you at the moment of getting it. The guy with the highest ego trying to give me hard times offering stupid promotions and insurances when clearly I want to get everything through the insurance company but he making annoying faces to me really make feel uncomfortable and second thing trying to give a car which I don’t booked the decided what car goes according to my ? . Then 3 and the one make me writ this review was he told me to bring car clean not dirty no pets hair no smoke in and the car was all full of dogs hair smelling like there were a full of sweated load of clothing windshield so foggy from inside and didn’t want to clean the car so I have to come home wash the car and try to kill or get rid of the bad smells on it car very poor scratches wheels so damaged windshield broken nooo completely unacceptable the way ppl can treat others plus trying to call them and being a representative for more than an hour on the phone no please think very good before considering come here unless you are used to get that kind of customer service. I’ll giving you -10⭐️

I’d definitely rent from these guys again. Very friendly and accommodating. If you’re getting your car repaired at the Ford dealership, this is the way to go.

Horrible customer service from Louis. I rented from Hertz previously in a different city and there was a gun left in the vehicle. After these two experiences Hertz has lost my business forever and state farm should consider dropping them as a vendor.

I recently rented a car for the week and they made it seamless. I arrived at the train station with my kids but no car seats so they arranged a car to pick me up with car seats for the kids. They were waiting as I stepped off the train and made what I was concerned would be a difficult process simple. Returning the car was just as easy, and everyone was just beyond lovely, in particular Elliot !! Would highly recommend.

Was involved in an accident last week , State Farm sent me here today (February 6,2024) These guys - "Elliot, DJ, and the rest of the staff are super cool people , renting was easy , they were extremely polite , had have a lot of good traits in ALL of them , Good to know in this cracra world there are still some good people out there , Thanks Guys - K

Highly unprofessional. Tried to file a complaint about a specific employee, that same person answered the phone...huffy puffed when I asked to speak with a manager. Then said he is a manager in training?! What?! WOW! Nope. You sir, are not professional. There's no number that gives an option to complain to upper management. Not a good experience.

THE WORST...They will charge you the cleaning fee of 500.00 some pet hair that gets transferred from your clothing to the vehicle.You better off renting elsewhere. Very poor customer service. The first vehicle that I was supposed to get smelled like smoke. They downgraded me to s smaller vehicle.so beware. You better vacuum the rental out and polish it before returning it to Hertz.Never again would I get a vehicle from them.Terrible customer service.

My rating is based off the management of this location only however my experience with the actual staff working inside was excellent. Levia was the person helping me with my rental. Levia went above and beyond to get my situation straight. She was very professional, kind, empathetic and understanding. The other associate Elliott was a gem as well. Unfortunately this store lacks quality management and proper employee training. Basically, throwing the staff to the sharks and hoping for the best. Lastly, the branch manager Sarah severely lacks customer oriented skills and experience. She's not helpful what so ever to both her staffs inquires or customers concerns.

This 5 star review is for Lev'ia ( I'm not sure if I spelled it right) and the older gentleman who picked me up from the Hendrix dealership. These two were great & professional. Overall, I do not rent with Hertz bc, there is literally always an issue and in this case it was the insurance company decision. These two were great! NO ISSUES .The manager lady could have been more helpful to her associates as they were taking calls and handling the front desk by themselves

Please run far away from this company!!! I usually rent from enterprise but my car insurance allowed me to rent a car through Hertz because of an accident and when I returned it they charged me a $400 smoking fee. I have NEVER in my life smoked, let alone in a rental car! I politely went to the manager(who had the worst attitude) and pleaded with her to reverse the charges because there was no smoking in that car. After going back and forth with her she told me to call the billing department. I called them and they said it was nothing they could do. This is like sitting in jail for a crime I didn’t commit! I will never step foot in another Hertz company ever again! W. Broad St. Hertz has ruined it for me.Update Kim(owner) 11/08/2023I did exactly what you said and still no help. I even messaged hertz on Facebook and still no help. You guys are just stealing people money and giving us the runaround.

two rentals in two months - neither ready at reservation time - neither clean - both smelled like weed - now they are trying to steal over $100 in fuel changes on a rental I returned full - the dispute process to get a refund is absurd - seems the standard mode of operation is to charge for fuel and make the customer dispute it - and I "have status" - time to find a new rental car company for these business trips - stay away!!!Update 11/6Hello unnamed owner ... I tried the online chat first - did not get anywhere there ... I tried the phone - got to a prompt where the automated Hertz system was to send a text message with an email address - never received the text message - tried twice ... and I promise you that the reception I received when I went to the actual Hertz location did not at all indicate that "the owner was very sorry" ... the manager did look it up ... and she did say it was a mistake and that they would refund me - IN TWO MONTHS ... and she went on to say it would be easier "to just do it on-line or over the phone" ... like gee that had not occurred to me before I took time out of my day to drive to the location as a last resort ...

I wish I could give them negative stars at this point. There has been no resolution and no responses to my requests for a correction to an invoice. DO NOT RENT A CAR HERE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Went here to get a car that did not smell like smoke. The car was fine but they messed up the billing and removed all insurance information that I provided. As THEY made a mistake, I was charged for the full cost of the rental when it should have been submitted to insurance. I called insurance and they NEVER received a claim. And guess which day I was charged? Yes, the same day I returned the Vehicle. I would give 0 stars if I could. The guys at Enterprise were so much better. Just wish their cards didn't smell like smoke.Your response below is worthless. I’ve already asked for assistance from the local store and none was provided. You don’t care about your customers. Hire better people and do the right thing when people rent from you

Avoid this rental location. The agent was helpful but the cars are in terrible condition, they weren't ready and said they had no alternate options even tho there was 50 cars there. I had to wait a half hour while she cleaned a car herself. This is why I don't rent from local offices but this was worst than most. I'm Presidents Circle too and they're usually accommodating but the experience was terrible.

I wanted to wait until my entire experience was done before reviewing and I have to say this was honestly a great place to rent. Now like others have said they’re very short staffed but the man cleaning the cars and the workers both when I picked up my rental and returned it were lovely. They were kind, professional, and patient. This location seems to have a very old system and it causes some problems on top of people being very inpatient when coming in. It did take me about 45 minutes to get my rental with some people ahead of me and I reserved mine online which made it go pretty quick once I was being helped. Returning was simple the staff just let me use the overnight box since they had a lot of people waiting to pick up rentals. My advice is be courteous and kind, they’re doing their best and I would definitely rent from them again. Also try to go with the most flexibility in time if you have somewhere to be.

My experience with this location was fine. The vehicle I originally requested and paid for was not available so the manager and staff member on hand went above and beyond to make sure I got something equal or better. They were both very polite and professional to me. I will say this...I could overhear a woman on the phone that called while I was there and she was very rude to the manager over the phone. The manager handled it very professional and much better than I would have. Honestly, half of the negative reviews are probably the customer having a hissy fit because they don't get their way. This is the 2nd time renting from this particular location and both times have been good for me. Thanks again for a pleasant experience!
