I just want to say that I will refer any and every one to Golden Goat Pawn Shop, especially the one on Chamberlayne Avenue. I have been a customer with them for years and hands down they have exceptional customer service and very knowledgeable and courteous with assistance. I have always found great items and service. Check them out, they have everything.

Bought a guitar and amp here—very good experience. The staff were very attentive, knew about guitars, let me try them out, and worked with me on price to set me up with the equipment I needed. I would recommend this shop for anyone looking for a reasonable—or even fantastic—price on used musical instruments. They also have tools and much more.

Real low ballers that try to beat you that’s in the middle of a low class community taking advantage of peoples hard times! I was in the store 10 minutes and the offers given were the worst I ever heard!

My favorite, go-to Pawnshop in the Richmond Area. They’ve got sick deals, good products, personal-able & knowledgeable staff. Never had a bad experience.I really appreciate their selection of retro games & they’re always getting new stuff in & willing to cut a deal. You’ll be surprised on what you can find there.

I love pawning my items at Golden goat because the staff there is very respectful fun to get along with always work things out with you and very helpful and the crazy thing about it. I forgot both of their names lol... it's one guy that wear glasses he's really good and nice and there's a other guy he's short and he's helpful a lot too as well keep doing a good job. They are rude,conartist! I was down on my luck and needed a little help so I carried a gift I received for my birthday which was a brand new $249.00 drill un-opened. They told me they where on sale for $60 at lowes (lowes doesn't even carry Milwaukee) thay would help me the best they could?..... they would give me $20!!!! Shame Shame golden goat you live up to half your name and not the golden part!! You treat your customers like a bunch of farm animals or drug addicts not sure which, however have a great day.. and dont got to the bronze donkey opps golden gopher. As for you bunch of farm animals behind d the counter go eat some grass -the gr!!! YOU'LL SMELLAND LOOK LIKE A BUNCH OF GOATS!!
