I could not ask for better care for my husband. Our aides, our nurse are all unbelievable caring and efficientI would like to recognize Marlene and Grace and our nurse Elizabeth. They just don’t know how much they are appreciated. We had a bad experience with a hospice company prior and this is a world of difference. High recommend

The staff with Kindred was responsive to phone calls and were reliable in keeping appointments. They were weak in two important areas. They initially worked with my elderly father’s caregiver and didn’t contact me about his care for lung cancer. I had to initiate contact and after that, their communication was good. I informed them during our first conversation that my elderly father had been a significant fall risk for years and that i anticipated the need for 24/7 care as his lung cancer advanced. My father hit a medical crisis that Kindred failed to prepare for despite our earlier communication. I was left in an emergency situation on a holiday weekend with inadequate guidance. I was fortunate that I was able to get my father into the VA’s Palliative Care with the assistance of his lawyer. This allowed him to die with dignity and comfort. I shouldn’t have been better than Kindred at anticipating this situation. It is for these reasons that I have given them a below average rating.
