“We ordered flowers for a friend of ours who lives about 5 minutes from Strange's Florist in Mechanicsville. It was a new apartment complex that was not clearly marked on Google Maps yet. They called me and left a voicemail message which I did not pick up until late in the day. Alex went above an beyond to deliver the flowers on her way home after work so that our friend would have them on her birthday. Unfortunately she did not receive them. We are not sure what happened. I sent Strange's a message through their online site and they delivered them first thing the next business day. Are friend was thrilled, they even included a balloon, which we did not order. That is world class service. Thank you Strange's Team!

“Get ready to spend an entire paycheck on flowers!! Not sure if it was just because it was Mother’s Day, but their selection of fresh flowers was basically all gone and their dried flowers were really expensive. Nice diverse selection, and everything comes from local farmers which is RAD…but $17 for a bundle of maybe 6 stems of common, small, dried flowers?! Ouch?leaving 4 stars because this is such a Richmond place. Community driven, eco conscious…just wish I had the budget! ?”

Almost ordered from the 800 flowers site, until I got to the final page and realized they were going to charge me almost $20 "service charge" on top of the other "fees" - What?! So for almost half the price I think I got her a beautiful bouquet and as I said she loved it. I will be using this business in the future!”

“This is probably the best garden center in the Henrico area. Lots of plants, decorations for the garden, soil and soil amendments as well as beautiful flags. They also do fresh flower arranging. They have experts on site to answer your questions. However all this beauty and knowledge comes at a price.”
“The customer service was great. The florist and the worker at the register were very patient and helpful. I ordered a corsage and boutonnière for my son and his homecoming date and they were perfect. I was nervous about the outcome however the staff were very helpful. I definitely plan to use their services in the future.”
“I've seen some complaints about the lines being long and the customer service and I will say my experience with Sam's club has been mixed. I don't really go there for the customer service but for the convenience of buying some of the important things I need in bulk and the app makes it so easy to just scan and buy so I can skip the lines ( so I suggest a lot of you complaining about lines get the Sam's club app so you can scan and go and stop complaining). I will say my only bad experience was with a greeter asking only me for my membership card but didn't ask anyone before or after me for the same thing. But other than that I have no real complaints about the store.”

“I live out of state and wanted to get a little something for a friend to brighten her day. Based on the reviews, I chose this florist. They did not disappoint. I called to place my order and the person who took my order was super friendly and assured me they could deliver that day as I got my order in by 2:00 like their website says. If you live locally and are looking for a florist, I’d say this might be your place. Highly recommend and would absolutely use them again.”
