Very cool place! I came for a specific item, and had to force myself not too look at all the other cool stuff I wasn't there for. So many amazing looking vintage pieces of furniture and art. The owner was super nice and had very friendly vibes.

I had a very mixed experience buying a dresser from this shop, far more bad than good. In short, only buy furniture from this shop if you can *in person* assess the quality of the piece and its restoration. In long, I found a dresser through the online store and visited the physical location to view it and buy it. There were some minor issues that I was able to appreciate (the drawer glides were causing the drawers to stick) and negotiate a small discount over. However after purchasing the piece, two legs fell off and a crack was noted in one of the drawer supports while picking up the piece to put into my vehicle. I decided to go through with the purchase anyways after an additional discount. Since this time, I've been working of the dresser to repair supports, glides, and legs and keep finding defects along the way. Now, I have to say this dresser is still very pretty and will be a nice statement piece when finished. However, I can't say I would repeat this process due to the questionable (at best...) restoration work given the price. In the shop owners defense, they did offer me a refund when issues like the broken legs cropped up while moving the dresser. In short (again), only buy what you can physically assess and *really* scrutinize any pieces you buy.

Great experience! Owners are great people and the furniture is beautiful! Very popular, so if you see something you like, jump on it! 4 couples came in and left with merchandise while we were there. Will return!

I love Epoch. I follow them on social media and drop in when I see something interesting. I've bought several pieces from them over the years. The quality is better than you can buy in a store today and the pieces are always beautifully refinished. I'm glad a business like Epoch is in Richmond.

We love Epoch. We bought a sofa, dresser, and dining chairs. Beautiful furniture at a reasonable price. Colena and Jake were wonderful to deal with, and Jake took great care with deliveries.
