Went to Dransfield to build a custom setting for an engagement ring using a diamond I already had, and I can't say enough good thing about the whole experience! Rose was an absolute pleasure to work with. She was incredibly responsive throughout the entire process and worked closely with me to design a truly unique piece. This involved Rose drawing up many sketches, and then working with me to take parts I liked from different designs, combining them into my fiancés dream ring. Rose really listened to my ideas while also bringing in her expertise for helpful suggestions. I could tell she really cared about the project and poured a lot of time into the ring. Last but not least, the pricing was fantastic and well within my budget!Can't wait to work with Rose again soon for our wedding bands!

I came to Dransfield with a very odd request - make me a 14k gold pendant for a guitar pick from my favorite musician (Trey Anastasio of Phish). Rose was incredible to work with - she listened to all of my ideas and made a pendant that surpassed my dreams. She sent lots of process photos, was super communicative, and finished a week before my hopeful deadline. I will absolutely work with Rose again. A+ for Dransfield Jewelers! Love, Arrow

Was looking to have a custom piece of jewelry made and after some googling found Dransfield Jewelers. I'm so happy I decided to go with this place. The pendant Rose created for me is just what I envisioned. It came out beautifully and she was a pleasure to work with. It did take longer than I expected but I still say 5 stars cause good things do come to those who wait, I absolutely love it! I would definitely use them again and recommend them to anyone.

Rose did a custom piece for me. Not only did she bring to life what I had in mind, but the process and communication AND the final product was absolutely amazing!! Best jeweler around. Highly recommend! Everyone else that works there is nice and helpful as well! I won't go anywhere else for jewelry ever again.

Rose at Dransfield did our engagement ring and wedding bands, and she was easily the best vendor we worked with throughout the whole wedding experience.Rose was attentive and understanding, appreciating both the smallest differences in detail between rings we were interested in as well as the reasons a person might prefer one over the other (or change their minds a time or two). She was patient, as we went back and forth on our decisions multiple times. She was very good at her craft, creating something that in the end became what my wife now calls her most cherished earthly possession. She was generous, offering to engrave our bands for free. And, maybe most importantly, she was kind and laid back.We were handling our wedding bands during the same time we were booking food and photography, deciding on flowers and seating arrangements, and fielding questions from everyone about how it was all going, what we were planning for this, and what we would do about that.Rose could have added more stress to what was already there. Instead, every time we went to see her in the months leading up to our wedding, we felt a breath of fresh air. A+

Wow. Where do I start? To start, this is a long time local business who has now shifted ownership to 2 absolutely incredible women who really know what they are doing. I had the pleasure of working directly with Caitie, a co-owner and jeweler. She was knowledgeable, but most importantly, she was so amazingly helpful. I went in wanting a small piece to mark the end of a really emotional time, and Caitie worked with me to make what I had turn into what I wanted. Not once did she try to upsell me or swindle me into spending more money than I was comfortable spending. She spent quite a long time crunching numbers and figuring costs to make something I absolutely adore. On top of that, she and all of her staff were unbelievably kind and supportive. The result is a high quality piece of jewelry that I am absolutely in love with and will absolutely be returning. YOU DEFINITELY WANT TO GIVE THIS PLACE A SHOT!

My wife and I were passing through Richmond and needed our wedding rings resized. Even though our needs were relatively inexpensive process for a jeweler, we felt highly valued during every interaction. All of the staff were positive and polite, the jeweler explained the process to us, and they stayed in contact with us, even though we were out of the country. I would go there for my jewelry needs if I lived close (I live in the midwest).
