This Dollar General is the dirtiest, moat unprofessional store I have ever had the displeasure of visiting!!! The floors are filthy, the aisles are blocked with boxes, you can't find things and Noone bothers to help. I could not justify spending my money in this place!

Closest DG to me, used to always have friendly staff and actually be open during advertised hours, all of a sudden this week...randomly closed. I am talking 7/8pm wth

This is the most unreliable store around. They never have enough staff, always have lines, and randomly close during normal business hours with out posting a notification or any other notice. I’m sympathetic for the employees but this location needs to be shutdown. We need better.

Went here to buy ice. Had to wait for the cooler to be unlocked- there was no ice. I had already sent the bag with other purchases and the receipt with my companion to the car. I was told by the cashier she needed the receipt to process a return even though she just processed the sale 5 minutes previously... I'm not walking to the car and back in the rain to get the receipt. Really terrible. Overpriced. Not all items have prices so be prepared for surprises.

So I had to make a quick stop at this location. While walking through the parking lot I noticed two people on the sidewalk as I go to the door. I knew what I went in there to get so I was on a mission to get in and get out. Anyway, I'm at the register no cashier I'm looking around for someone. There's a squeeze toy on the counter so I squeeze it. Then a customer says I think she's outside smoking a cigarette. So I replied and said I know there's someone in the back stocking. And I'm looking to see someone come up. I then go to the door and look out it's the same to people out there when I first came in. So I go back to the register and wait. The person who was in the back came up to the front of the store evidently she wasn't register trained so she went to the door and told the worker she had customers waiting. And I'm thinking why oh why I understand that you may need to get a smoke in every now and then but you also have a job to do. And you're standing outside knowing you see customers going into the store common sense would tell you hmm, maybe I need to get back into the store. Cause their NOT paying her to smoke and conversation outside. While customers are steadily coming in the store. Very poor customer service. When she finally brought her self back into the store she didn't even bother saying oh I'm sorry for having you wait did you find everything you were looking for today? None of that came out of her mouth. I tell you it's hard to find good help nowadays. They want to get paid but don't want to the work.

This store is almost never open. I live right down the street and and over the last three years id say 7 outof 10 times the store is closed at random parts of the day. Always a hand written sign saying “closed” or “will be back” & “sorry for the inconvenience”. Never an explanation either. I genuinely would love to know why they do this and why it has continued for YEARS. How does corporate let them get away with this

The cashier that was on duty on Friday Jan 29th had an attitude problem. I went into the store for an exchange of an item I had purchased a few days earlier. The store was so junky and things out of place. You couldn't even get through to aisles. I used to shop at this on a regular basis. I was very disappointed and the cashier didn't help the situation at all. Unprofessional to say the least. Sorry this is the review for the store on midlothian turnpike.
