These folks really helped me out in a pinch. "Steve" was awesome, responsive, followed up, and made sure I was taken care of! I left feeling like I made a new friend! I still owe him some walnut brownies..... I would highly recommend Discount Medical Equipment to anyone who needs supplies and knowledgeable employees.

although i was welcomed quite warmly and the views were gorgeous, barry is a flagrant racist and i was very disappointed in his behavior, which included hurling hurtful slurs at customers around me. :'-(

I was traveling and had a problem with my CPAP hose. I found Discount Medical Supply on Yelp and called. Steve was very professional, and assured me he had replacement hoses and would do whatever was necessary to fix my problem. When I got to the store, he went above and beyond to assist me, searching through multiple bins to provide the part I needed. He fixed my problem and refused to charge me (after joking that the charge was $500). Another employe whose name escapes me also expressed interest in my problem. If you're in the Richmond area and are in need of medical supplies, you can't do better than Steve's place.

The older man that abruptly came out of the back not to help me but to file something. When I asked him to help he was very short with me acted as if I was a bother when I asked to look at a couple of items for my c-pap . He tossed the holes and attachment on the counter and quickly scanned, so to get rid of me. If it were not for me needing those supplies to sleep I would have walked out. I paid my $99 and left. I said "have a great day" and he said nothing.

Always super helpful and priced well. I've gone twice in the last 2 weeks due to needing supplies after my shoulder surgery. They were very friendly/informative when helping me find dressings and cleaning products. Will definitely return for my other needs.

Great personalized service and very knowledgeable staff. Steve is the expert on CPAP machines and supplies. Lucky to have found this well run, small business after terrible experience with huge online only conglomerate our insurance pushed.

I was in need of a CPAP right away mine died suddenly. Steve was very professional, compassionate, went above and beyond to assist me in getting the right CPAP for me. He set up the CPAP, helped me get the app for my phone to monitor progress. He provided easy to understand instructions and demonstration with the machine and did the mask fit test to be sure I was purchasing the correct size mask. I have purchased other items in the past from this store. Staff always go above and beyond to make sure I get the right products.

Discount Medical has been my "go to" spot for equipment and supplies to support my husband's Parkinsons for more than eight years. The staff is always helpful and thoroughly professional - they "know their stuff" and steer me in the correct direction. They not only sell supplies and equipment but service and repair as well. Don't come here. The negative reviews are accurate. I walked in and she never greeted me or asked if I needed help with anything. There was an older man that she was giving all her attention to. Just walked past me. Didn't try help me with the CPAP supplies and barely answered my questions. Just stood there looking at me as if I didn't belong there or like I was a criminal. Limited masks available anyway. How can it be a medical supply store with only 3 mask types that looked old? Never again.
