Bought an item from the store and it went on sale a week later. They would not honor me the sale price. All other major department stores would honor the new sale price and issue you a refund. Will NOT be shopping with them again.

I visited your Stony Point location on 12/26/23 at about 2:15pm. My shopping experience started out pleasant. My mother, grandmother and I bought four Brahmin bags. We were attended to and the sales associate was personable with great customer service.I then proceeded to the intimates department where I was again assisted by an engaged associate. She assisted me in the fitting room and with my purchase.Lastly, I came back around to the accessories before leaving. I noticed the sales assistant, Natellie, continuously walking away as I became closer to her. She even walked over to the other side of the counter to avoid interaction. She never spoke or asked if I needed help. As my mother and grandmother were standing by I said ‘excuse me, are these items on sale.’ She said very snarky, no and turned her head around to then walk away. I then said ‘well how are you today?’ She said, well you didn’t speak to me. She then began to name a few items in the area that were on sale, again as she is walking away. I was very turned off by her disposition and her smart remarks which were unwarranted. She is a sales associate in a department store which should specialize in customer service and assistance to anyone regardless of their race, creed or color. I believe Natellie should be retrained on how to approach and engage with any customer more appropriately and with a better attitude.(I received the store manager’s direct email from a manager on duty. I also emailed him directly and have yet to receive any feedback.)

Shopped in the home department today and Ava was amazing! Dillards is known for great service and she didn’t disappoint while helping me accomplish everything that I needed to redecorate my home. This store is a larger Dillards than I am used to and the selection was good with lots of special sales in cosmetics, purses and more. What I loved about this store was each department had professionals who were happy to help and have helpful conversations. I had two Cmas returns and it was simply painless.Well done to the leadership team—-you must have the secret sauce!!!

Who ever is working the department in terms of answering calls is not professional what so ever. I have called multiple times and even once called and received such sarcastic behavior which should not be allowed when working customer service. I expected better from a store of high class.

December 18,2023 , I drove one hour to go to Dillard's to purchase some black boots. I have been buying shoes there for many years. Wendy is the shoe department was rude once before , so when I saw her again I looked for someone else to help me. Unfortunately, There was only one person working in the shoe department. I picked up the boots and asked for my size. Her face and attitude changed and she replied again that I had to order shoes on line. I told her that the last time this happened I drove to Short Pump and brought two pairs. I left and told another clerk how bad I felt. She told me to tell their boss. I left the store and drove to Short Pump ! I got everything at Short Pump without any drama.All this happened at 11:20 am. I will just go to Short Pump from now on. Wendy messed up my whole day twice--DONE!

The ladies at the fragrance counters were awesome. I came for one thing and ended up leaving with 3 more amazing scents. They know their stuff and don't do pressure selling, they ask you questions and match up what you like.

I had a wonderful experience in the shoe department. The young man paid attention and brought out shoes that I was looking and debating about if it was worth asking for a pair to try on. There were a decent number of customers and he was very helpful for everyone.

I had a great experience with Beth Taghizadeh at the Perfume Counter. I bought my son some Jean Paul Gaultier for his birthday, she helped me pick b/t that and another. I paid and walked around smelling women's perfumes- I don't like to shop but I love scents. She was wonderful and even made a sample of a perfume for me and let me try a discontinued one I'd been dying to try for years. Her demeanor was no nonsense and experienced. She was really good with scent. I love that kind energy! I'll definitely be using there to buy instead of online and ask for her (ie. tell my husband to).

Saleswoman in the men’s suit department was completely unprofessional. She wouldn’t give me the time of day without confirming if I’d be purchasing a suit from the store.
